About Serpent's Gaze
Serpent’s Gaze is a third‑person action title that mixes punishing soulslike combat with roguelike elements. The game supports 1‑4 players in online co‑op, letting a solo adventurer or a small party face the desert’s hostile factions and relentless bosses. The world is an ancient desert split between the nomadic Majin ruins and a cathedral‑filled city of the proud Attar’Esh, each populated by distinct enemies and environmental hazards. Players choose a weapon, collect blessings from strange deities, gifts from a patron, and relics that shape their build for the duration of a run. Handcrafted levels are revisited repeatedly; the Curse system injects random variables such as hunting minibosses or environmental dangers, while the Awareness system raises the difficulty after each successful run. The narrative follows a scion created by the withering tree god Magnolia, tasked with ending the rule of opposing gods and restoring the desert. Features listed include single‑player, online co‑op for up to four, full controller support, adjustable difficulty, and Steam Cloud saving. The game is currently released for Windows only.
