About Saiko no sutoka
Saiko no Sutoka is a horror‑survival title where you, the Protagonist, are trapped in a school and must escape while avoiding Saiko Chan, a psycho yandere serial killer. The game centers on Saiko’s dual‑state AI, which alternates between blocking your progress and actively hunting you.
Your goal is to collect numbered items that unlock a safe containing the key to the exit door. The early‑access release includes three distinct modes—Yandere, Normal/Hard, and Yangire—each offering a different level of challenge, and the game is currently in alpha 2.1 with planned future content.
01 / THE GUIDE
Antagonist AI Behavior
Saiko Chan’s AI operates in two states due to a depicted DID condition. In the Yandere State she is not directly hostile but prevents escape by slowing the player with various actions. In the Yangire State she becomes hostile, ambushing and attempting to kill before reverting.
The shift between states creates a dynamic threat that differs from typical horror pursuers, requiring players to adapt to both obstruction and direct attacks as they navigate the school.
- Observe Saiko’s behavior patterns to anticipate when she might switch states.
- Use moments of Yandere State to explore safely before the Yangire State returns.

Game Objective & Collectibles
The core objective is to escape the school by gathering numbers that unlock a safe. The safe contains the exit door key, which is required to finish the game. Collecting these numbers is the primary progression mechanic.
Numbers are scattered throughout the environment, encouraging exploration while avoiding Saiko’s interference. Successful collection leads to unlocking the safe and moving toward the final escape.
- Prioritize areas with visible number items to speed up unlocking the safe.
- Keep track of collected numbers to avoid unnecessary backtracking.

Difficulty Modes
Three modes are available at launch. Yandere Mode serves as a tutorial/story version showing Saiko before her snap. Normal and Hard Mode represent the standard gameplay where escape is required. Yangire Mode is the hardest, featuring the most aggressive AI behavior.
Each mode changes Saiko’s presentation and aggressiveness, offering players a choice of challenge level from introductory to very difficult.
- Start with Yandere Mode to learn Saiko’s patterns before tackling harder modes.
- Select Yangire Mode only after mastering Normal Mode for a true test.
