Vehicle Combat
Rising Front adds more than a dozen new vehicles and tanks, including experimental designs that never saw WW1 service. These vehicles can be piloted directly or ordered as part of your army. The variety spans early‑war tanks to later models, giving players a broad tactical palette.
The game also features a procedural cover system that adapts the environment for vehicle engagements, and rag‑doll physics that make collisions feel dynamic. Players can switch between first‑person control and top‑down command to suit their play style.
- Experiment with both first‑person and overhead views to find which gives you better situational awareness.
- Use the procedural cover to protect vulnerable tanks during advance.

Air and Fire Support
The title includes more than thirty aircraft and fire‑support options. Players can call in fighters or bombing runs to bolster defenses, adding an aerial dimension to ground battles.
Air units integrate with the artillery system, allowing coordinated strikes. The variety of planes spans early war fighters to dedicated bombers, each contributing to the strategic depth.
- Coordinate bombing runs with artillery for maximum impact on enemy formations.
- Deploy fighters early to protect your ground units from enemy air attacks.

Cavalry Charge
Rising Front offers over twenty cavalry units from WW1, the Revolutionary War and the Franco‑Prussian War. Players can mount horses and lead hundreds of cavalrymen in a charge.
These units provide a fast‑moving melee option that contrasts with slower infantry and armored vehicles, allowing for rapid flanking or breakthrough tactics.
- Use cavalry to exploit gaps created by artillery fire.
- Mix cavalry from different eras to balance speed and durability.

The procedural cover system and AI commanding help manage the chaos, letting players direct units efficiently across massive fronts.
- Leverage AI command to maintain order in large engagements.
