Faction Choice and Endings
The story pivots on which faction you support—anti‑shogunate, pro‑shogunate, or Western forces. Supporting a faction influences key events, such as whether you assassinate or protect figures like Naosuke Ii, and determines the final outcome.
Multiple endings are tied directly to these decisions, ensuring that your alignment reshapes the narrative and the nation’s future.
- Consider the long‑term impact of early alliances before committing to a faction.
- Revisit pivotal choices if you want to explore a different ending.
