Heroes and Talents
Nine heroes, such as Little Red Riding Hood, Sun Wukong, and the Snow Queen, each have a distinct gameplay twist. After completing a level, the player selects a new talent, expanding the hero’s capabilities.
With over 200 talents and 50 magical items, players can combine talents and items to form many different builds, encouraging experimentation across runs.
- Choose talents that reinforce your hero’s core strength for smoother early progression.
- Pair talents with items that share the same damage or survivability focus.

Maps and Environments
The game features three open maps inspired by enchanted forests, One Thousand and One Nights, and Arthurian legends. Each map is randomly generated and filled with activities, enemies, and lore characters such as the Three Little Pigs and Sinbad.
Exploring these maps yields rewards that help future runs, and each map ends with a chapter boss that players may face when they feel ready.
- Complete side activities early to collect extra rewards before confronting the boss.
- Look for hidden shortcuts that can shorten travel time across the map.

Ravenswatch allows up to four players to cooperate online. A matchmaking feature helps assemble parties, letting friends or strangers combine hero synergies.
Co‑op play emphasizes teamwork, especially during epic boss battles where coordinated talent choices can turn the tide.
- Discuss talent selections with teammates to avoid overlapping roles.
- Balance offensive and defensive heroes for smoother boss encounters.

Difficulty and Game Modes
Four difficulty levels and customizable game modes let players adjust enemy behavior and reward scaling. This lets users tailor the challenge to their preference.
The core roguelike loop remains the same, whether the player chooses a relaxed run or a punishing test of skill.
- Start on a lower difficulty to learn hero mechanics before increasing the challenge.
- Use custom modes to experiment with new strategies without high pressure.
