About Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check places you at a single checkpoint during a zombie outbreak. You screen every survivor, decide who enters the living block, who is sent to quarantine or the lab, and prevent infected individuals from slipping through.
As the survivor count rises you must allocate power, food and medicine, expand defenses, pilot armed drones during alarms, and optionally harvest turned zombies for research, unlocking tools and upgrades that shape the base’s long‑term survival.

Checkpoint Management
The game’s core loop centers on a single entry point where each arriving survivor is evaluated. Using the screening interface you assign people to quarantine, the lab, or the living block, directly influencing the safety of the compound.
Sending an infected person to the living block can cause a breach, while overly strict screening can slow the influx of needed workers. Balancing speed and accuracy becomes critical as the queue lengthens each day.
- When the queue spikes, prioritize clear symptom checks before assigning destinations.
- Review the outcome of each decision to fine‑tune future screening thresholds.

Screening Tools
High‑tech equipment lets you detect infection signs, contraband and rare collectables among survivors. Accurate detection reduces the chance that an infected individual reaches the living block, protecting the base from immediate threats.
The game also permits fatal analysis of subjects with unknown symptoms. Performing these tests yields new tools and staff experience, but each test ends the subject’s life, presenting a clear trade‑off between knowledge and survival.
- Use detection tools early in the queue to prevent later quarantine overload.
- Consider the long‑term benefit of fatal analysis before committing a survivor.

Resource Allocation
You must distribute power, food and medicine between the living block and defensive needs. Daily consumption is tracked, and shortages directly affect survivor morale and base integrity.
Effective allocation unlocks additional tools, weapon upgrades and long‑term improvements. As the population swells, careful budgeting becomes essential to sustain both civilian comfort and defensive capability.
- Monitor daily consumption rates to anticipate shortages before they occur.
- Prioritize upgrades that improve resource efficiency when supplies run low.

Drone Defense
Alarms trigger the deployment of armed drones that you pilot to stop infected survivors from breaching the compound. Drone control forms a separate defensive layer that reacts to immediate threats.
Successful interceptions preserve resources and prevent chain reactions of infection inside the base. Prompt response limits breaches, keeping the overall situation more manageable.
- Deploy drones immediately when an alarm sounds to limit breach opportunities.
- Focus on the nearest infected groups to reduce the chance of escape.

Zombie Harvesting
Turned zombies can be confined and harvested for samples. Harvesting provides new tools, staff experience points and long‑term upgrades, turning a lethal threat into a research resource.
The process is optional; each harvested zombie contributes to a steady flow of upgrades that can offset the loss of potential survivors, influencing long‑term strategic planning.
- Secure containment before beginning any harvest to avoid accidental escapes.
- Weigh the upgrade gain against the loss of a survivor before harvesting.
