01 / THE GUIDE
Story Premise
Razputin breaks into Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp hoping to join the elite Psychonauts. A mysterious villain has kidnapped the other campers and taken their brains, setting up a rescue mission that drives the game's narrative.
The rescue requires Raz to enter the minds of the kidnapped campers, confronting mental demons and uncovering hidden memories. Each mind‑projection segment ties the surreal environments to the overarching goal of preventing the stolen brains from falling into the wrong hands.
- Notice how each mind’s visual style reflects the character’s personality.
- Compare the camp’s exterior with the inner‑mind realms for narrative clues.

Psychic Abilities
Raz can use Telekinesis to move objects, Levitation to float, and a signature power that lets him project his consciousness into other minds. These abilities serve as distinct tools for both combat and puzzle solving.
Mind‑projection is the central mechanic for accessing inner‑mind levels, where Raz confronts mental demons and solves environment‑based challenges. Combining abilities often opens new pathways within both the camp and the projected realms.
- Try Telekinesis on different objects to observe varied reactions.
- Use Levitation to reach platforms that are otherwise out of reach.

Gameplay Style
The game blends classic platforming—running, jumping, and fighting—with exploration of surreal inner‑mind environments. Players navigate abstract settings while battling mental demons, creating a mix of action and psychological exploration.
Puzzle solving frequently relies on Raz’s psychic powers, requiring creative use of Telekinesis, Levitation, and mind‑projection. This combination defines the core experience and influences the pacing of each level.
- Treat each mental realm as a self‑contained level with its own logic.
- Balance platforming sections with puzzle sections to maintain flow.
