About Project Oasis
Project Oasis is a free‑to‑play indie adventure for Windows that tells a single‑player story set on the planet Bluestar in the distant Promie galaxy. The tale follows ASTELL, who awakens after three millennia in an underground city and learns he has become the new Son of the Stars.
Together with Mizi, an AI‑raised companion, ASTELL explores ruined corridors, solves environmental puzzles, and gathers reactor components needed to restore Bluestar’s rotation. The narrative is framed by a legend of the comet Star of Hope and a mysterious final choice.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story and Setting
The galaxy Promie is named after the Greek mythic fire‑bringer Prometheus, and its planet Bluestar is described as rich, beautiful, and transformed into a “Wonderful Life form.” Every 3,000 years a comet called the Star of Hope visits and selects a child to become the ageless Son of the Stars, guardians of hope.
ASTELL awakens in an underground city after the planet stopped spinning. A board informs him that a special reactor must inject energy into Bluestar’s core to restore rotation, prompting his quest to locate the reactor parts while uncovering clues about his lost companions.
- Note how the comet legend frames the stakes for the reactor quest.
- Look for messages on walls and boards that hint at the reactor’s purpose.

Main Characters
ASTELL is the newly awakened Son of the Stars, unaware of his role and seeking lost companions. Mizi, raised from childhood by the artificial intelligence Yun, has never met his own kind and assists ASTELL in unlocking archives and crafting equipment such as a pair of glasses.
Garfield’s consciousness resides in the computer as GARD AI, offering guidance throughout the underground city. Later, the final reactor part is found on the mainframe that hosts Garfield’s consciousness, tying the AI’s presence to the story’s climax.
- Compare ASTELL’s human perspective with Mizi’s AI upbringing to see differing problem‑solving approaches.
- Track references to GARD AI to understand its narrative role.

Player Choice Mention
The description includes the phrase “It depends on the player's choice,” indicating that the developers acknowledge player agency at certain moments, such as interactions with shadow creatures and a final platform decision.
The text also references a concluding “Make a choice” before the epilogue, showing that a decision is presented to the player at the story’s end, though no specific outcomes are detailed.
- Observe where the description explicitly mentions player choice to identify moments that may involve decision prompts.
- Consider noting the context of each mention for later reference.

Puzzle Solving
The game presents a series of environmental puzzles that require observation. Players must locate reactor parts, decode archives, and navigate rooms that reveal the history of the Son of the Stars; the description notes that puzzles are “not difficult” but rely on careful observation.
Mizi crafts a pair of glasses for ASTELL that have “interesting effects,” suggesting that equipping the glasses may reveal additional visual details during puzzle sections.
- Pay attention to visual cues in each room; they often hint at the next reactor component.
- Try using the glasses in puzzle areas to see whether new information becomes visible.

Ending and Epilogue
After gathering all reactor parts—including the final component hosted on Garfield’s consciousness—players place them on a platform and activate the core, revitalizing Bluestar. The narrative then moves to an epilogue that reflects on hope, unanswered questions, and the possibility of future runs.
The epilogue states that regardless of the specific choice made, the outcome leads to a shared destination, emphasizing thematic closure while leaving several mysteries unresolved.
- Reflect on the lingering questions presented in the epilogue to inform a second playthrough.
- Note how the “hope” extracted from the Son of the Stars functions as a narrative device rather than a gameplay mechanic.
