About PRICE
PRICE follows the gentle musician Ivry as he awakens from a nightmare in a strange room. He must explore alone, piece together clues, and confront fear to uncover the truth and reunite with his sister Iva. The narrative blends Ivry’s sensitivity with Iva’s outgoing spirit, each bringing music and drawing talents to the story.
The game presents its story through a comic‑style storyboard where images and dialogue shift freely, avoiding static panels. Puzzles unlock layers of the original soundtrack, and an updated decoder improves the experience of the eleven video performances that span the whole plot.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story and Characters
Ivry, a popular young musician, wakes in a bizarre room after a nightmare. He dislikes insects, dirty hands, and blood, but his talent for music guides his journey. His sister Iva, initially sparky and mischievous, becomes calmer after family misfortune yet remains resolute and good at drawing.
The core goal is for Ivry to search, explore, and ultimately find Iva while uncovering the truth behind their situation. Their contrasting personalities shape the emotional tone of the adventure.
- Observe how Ivry’s aversions influence environmental details; they may hint at hidden areas.
- Consider Iva’s artistic skill as a narrative cue for visual clues.

Visual Storyboard Presentation
The game uses a storyboard format common in comics, where pictures and dialogue boxes lack fixed positions. This creates a rich visual performance that changes as the player progresses.
Because panels are not static, the visual flow adapts to the player’s exploration, keeping the presentation dynamic and engaging.
- Watch the shifting layout for subtle hints about puzzle solutions.
- Compare repeated visual motifs across panels to spot narrative connections.

Clue Integration System
Beyond using items to solve puzzles, players must search the map for clues and combine them into new clues, driving the plot forward. This prevents long monologues and encourages active investigation.
Clue integration requires the player to think about how discovered information relates, forming a chain that unlocks further story segments.
- Keep a mental or physical note of each clue’s details; connections often rely on small differences.
- Re‑examine earlier locations after gaining new clues, as they may gain new relevance.

Original BGM and Audio
The sole background music was composed by independent musician TetraCalyx and consists of five voice parts labeled P, R, I, C, and E. These parts unlock sequentially in a new game+ mode by solving puzzles.
An updated decoder is recommended for a better experience, as the story is delivered through eleven video performances that together cover the entire narrative.
- Listen for each voice part’s introduction; they signal progress in puzzle solving.
- Use the decoder recommendation to ensure smooth playback of the video performances.
