01 / THE GUIDE
Hero Roster and Talent System
You can field up to five heroes drawn from eight class types such as Ranged DPS, Magic Support, and Assassins. Each hero provides two talent branches, letting you specialize their role within the squad.
Every hero has access to a pool of twenty‑five distinct skills. By selecting skills that complement each other across the squad, you can create powerful synergistic combos for each encounter.
- Mix classes to cover a range of damage, support, and control.
- Look for skills whose effects reinforce each other across different heroes.
02 / THE GUIDE
Turn‑Based Tactical Combat
Battles take place on a grid‑based field where you move your squad and the enemy turn by turn, allowing careful positioning and planning.
Terrain features such as higher ground increase attack power, and some maps include moving environments that add extra tactical depth. Each mission also presents a special challenge that rewards greater loot when completed.
- Use high ground to boost attack damage.
- Watch for moving terrain that can create new opportunities or hazards.

World Setting and Narrative
The game is set in Statera, a land scarred by the ancient Dark Pain and ruled by the Order of the Ashen Crusade. Rifts in reality allow hostile creatures to invade, intensifying the conflict.
Your decisions influence the main story and which heroes can be recruited later, meaning some characters may become unavailable if earlier choices close certain paths.
- Consider the long‑term impact of story choices.
- Explore dialogue options thoroughly to uncover hidden paths.

Progression and Equipment Crafting
Resources earned from missions let you upgrade equipment at your base, improving weapons and armor for each hero.
Better gear works together with skill selection, allowing you to fine‑tune each hero’s combat effectiveness as you advance through the campaign.
- Prioritize early gear upgrades that enhance your core skills.
- Balance spending between new equipment and skill improvements.

Sidequests, World Missions, and Raids
Beyond the main storyline, the game offers sidequests that unlock additional heroes and expand lore. World Missions obtained from NPCs lead to extra content scattered across the map.
Raids let your settlement’s heroes tackle larger threats, providing extra resources and narrative depth while influencing the world outside the primary plot.
- Take sidequests to broaden your hero pool.
- Participate in raids for rare resources and story moments.
