About Pot's On!
Pot's On! drops you into a kitchen after a crushing defeat, where a talking ladle informs you that a witch has turned you into a cooking pot. The narrative pushes you to climb the witch’s tower, defeat “suspiciously beautiful” monsters, and reclaim your original body.
The core loop revolves around packing the pot’s limited interior with monster‑derived parts—horns, wings, tails, and more—to build synergies. Higher synergy tiers make more MSG rain down and fall faster, and MSG drops reduce item cooldowns to keep abilities activating. The game is single‑player, free‑to‑play, and available on Windows.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story Setup
The protagonist awakens in an unfamiliar kitchen after a party’s defeat, learning from a talking ladle that a witch has stolen their body and transformed them into a pot. This premise establishes the goal of confronting the witch at the tower’s summit.
The witch’s theft leaves magical power inside the pot, giving a reason to explore, collect monster parts, and experiment with builds. The story frames each monster encounter as a step toward regaining humanity.
- Notice how each new monster encounter is presented as progress toward the tower’s top.
- Consider the narrative emphasis on transformation when choosing which monster parts to prioritize.

Item Synergy System
Players fill the pot’s limited interior with horns, wings, tails, and other ingredients gathered from monsters. The placement of each item determines synergy tiers, which directly affect gameplay performance.
Synergies are divided into eight main and twelve supporting categories; completing them reduces item cooldowns and raises the amount of MSG that falls, enabling more frequent ability activation.
- Group items belonging to the same synergy to maximize tier benefits.
- Balance main and supporting synergies to keep cooldowns low while maintaining variety.

MSG Drop Mechanic
By default, one MSG drops onto a random tile each second. If an item occupies that tile, its cooldown is reduced by one second, accelerating the item’s activation.
Higher synergy tiers increase the number of MSG drops, shortening the interval between drops and allowing more continuous use of abilities.
- Place high‑impact items on tiles that frequently receive MSG to benefit from faster cooldown reduction.
- Watch how tier upgrades affect MSG frequency and adjust placement accordingly.

Shop Reroll System
The in‑game shop offers items that can be rerolled, giving players the chance to discover new pieces that fit their desired synergy layout. Rerolling provides fresh options without guaranteeing a specific item.
Because pot space is limited, acquiring items that complement existing placements is essential for completing synergies and improving overall build efficiency.
- Reroll when current shop offerings do not match any needed synergy slots.
- Track which items you already own to avoid redundant purchases.

Tower Climb and Monster Battles
Progression involves climbing the witch’s tower and confronting “suspiciously beautiful” monsters. Defeating these foes yields the ingredients needed for pot customization.
Each monster defeat expands the pool of possible items, feeding back into the synergy and MSG systems to strengthen the player’s build for higher tower levels.
- Prioritize monsters that drop parts matching missing synergy slots.
- Use increased MSG flow from higher tiers to maintain pressure on tougher enemies.
