About Pocket Dinos
Pocket Dinos is a casual incremental title where players collect sticker‑style dinosaurs. Eggs are supplied in packs, can be fed to speed hatching, and the resulting living dinos generate money that adds to the player’s fortune.
The game runs at the player’s own pace, offers habitat decoration, hat unlocks, and a Desktop Dinos mode that lets the collection appear on the desktop. Progress is stored with Steam Cloud, and the game also supports Family Sharing on Windows PCs.
01 / THE GUIDE
Hatching and Feeding Eggs
Each pack provides new eggs that sit idle until the player chooses to feed them. Feeding accelerates the hatch timer, after which the egg becomes a living dino that immediately joins the collection.
Once hatched, the dino begins earning money for the player. Faster hatching therefore leads to earlier income, making the decision to feed a practical way to influence early earnings.
- Observe which eggs hatch quickest after feeding and prioritize those for early income.
- Consider spreading feed across multiple eggs to avoid concentrating resources on a single hatch.

Habitat Decoration and Expansion
Players can place trees, plants, rocks, volcanoes and other items inside habitats. As dinos wander through these decorations, the habitat gains experience and levels up.
When a habitat levels up it unlocks additional space for more dinos and further décor, allowing the collection to grow both visually and numerically.
- Start with a few simple items to see how quickly the habitat levels up.
- Mix different décor types to discover which combinations unlock space most efficiently.

Dino Variants, Affinities, and Earnings
Every dino carries a rarity, variant, and affinity. Collecting different traits lets players build combinations that increase the money each dino generates.
Pack bonuses add another layer to these combinations, encouraging players to seek diverse stickers rather than focusing on a single type.
- Track which affinities appear together most often in packs.
- Experiment with mixing variants to notice any changes in earnings.

Unlocking Hats and Personalization
Completing a dino collection unlocks hats that can be placed on the creatures. The hats range from cute to silly, adding visual personality to each dino.
These hats become part of the broader personalization of the habitat book, letting players showcase their collection style alongside other decorations.
- Finish smaller sets first to unlock hats more frequently.
- Combine different hat styles across dinos to create a varied visual theme.

Desktop Dinos Mode
Desktop Dinos mode extends the collection beyond the main window, allowing dinos to wander across the player’s desktop while they work, browse, or relax.
The mode acts as a visual companion, turning the desktop into an interactive showcase of the player’s progress.
- Enable Desktop Dinos after building a varied collection for richer visual variety.
- Arrange desktop icons to give dinos clear paths for wandering.
