About Planet Centauri
Planet Centauri invites players to explore diverse biomes, hidden dungeons, and a thriving NPC community while protecting the native Chloridian species from Night Walkers. The game blends action‑adventure exploration with deep crafting, monster taming, and magitech engineering, offering both solo and cooperative play across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Players can capture and breed monsters, enchant equipment with runes, and design custom spells or electronic circuits. With no mandatory tutorials or linear quests, progression is guided by a completion tree, letting you shape a new civilization at your own pace.
01 / THE GUIDE
Monster Capture & Transformation
Capturing monsters lets you seal them, granting the ability to transform into almost any creature. Each captured monster retains unique features, gains experience alongside you, and can breed if paired with a partner, producing offspring that inherit parental traits.
Transformed monsters may possess special abilities such as flying or digging, expanding traversal options. Breeding occurs in tiny houses that act as pocket worlds; happy monsters earn experience and may lay eggs when conditions are met.
- Observe monster happiness cues in their pocket houses to maximize breeding chances.
- Experiment with transformations that offer movement abilities you lack, like flight for reaching high platforms.

Equipment Runes & Rarity
Runes enchant weapons and armor with varied stats and effects, and equipment levels up through monster kills or magical crystals. Seven rarity levels exist for both gear and monsters, with higher rarity delivering stronger, unique characteristics.
Currencies let you influence RNG for optimal equipment traits, while rarer monsters provide more powerful abilities and reinforced stats, encouraging collection and combat.
- Focus on gathering magical crystals early to level up your equipment without relying on RNG.
- Balance rune selection between offensive and defensive stats to handle diverse enemy types.

Magic Spellcrafting
Players craft spells by controlling arc, pattern, and element, mixing fire, ice, electric, stone, light, and shadow. Each element has strengths and weaknesses; for example, fire burns, ice freezes, and shadow passes through enemies.
Spells are assembled in a live editor with many options and can be shared via base64 text, allowing easy copy‑paste exchange with friends.
- Combine elements that exploit enemy weaknesses for higher damage efficiency.
- Save frequently used spell configurations as base64 strings for quick reuse.

Magitech Circuit System
The magitech system lets you design electronic circuits using a pipe‑based soul‑energy signal that carries up to 9‑bit information. Components include generators, crystalizers, teleporters, logical operators, memory registers, and even a Game of Life cellular automaton.
These circuits can power machines, create displays, or build complex calculators, offering limitless automation possibilities from simple lighting to functional CPUs.
- Start with basic generators and logical gates to understand signal flow before tackling advanced memory modules.
- Use the visual pipe system to trace signal paths and debug circuit behavior.

Creative Mode & Construction
Creative mode provides developer tools, commands, terraformation, and infinite items, enabling players to build with over 500 block types. Blocks can be shaped, colored, and combined, creating endless architectural possibilities.
An event system with more than 20 triggers lets you craft traps, spawn enemies, or design mini‑games without coding, expanding the sandbox experience.
- Utilize the event triggers to prototype puzzle mechanics before implementing them in survival mode.
- Experiment with block shaping and paint to achieve unique aesthetic designs.
