About PILGRIM
Pilgrim is a first‑person horror adventure set in a dark medieval world. Players leave the safety of their Village with limited supplies and a powered wagon, embarking on a long, dangerous road toward an unknown destination.
The journey takes you through crypts, dimly lit dungeons, derelict towns, and twisting woodlands. Light is essential, and monsters roam the landscape, making solo or cooperative travel a tense experience.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story & Setting
The game presents a first‑person horror perspective rooted in a medieval‑inspired darkness, where the Village serves as the only safe haven before the pilgrimage begins.
From the Village you travel a perilous road, exploring crypts, dungeons, towns, and woodlands while managing limited supplies and the ever‑present threat of unseen creatures.
- Mark early landmarks to keep your sense of direction.
- Carry a light source before entering any dark interior.
02 / THE GUIDE
Wagon & Travel
Your primary transport is a Wagon, a relic fitted with a crystalline engine that moves according to the player’s will, carrying you and any companions.
The wagon acts as a mobile base; keeping supplies inside it and staying near it after daylight helps mitigate the dangers that emerge later.
- Store essential items inside the wagon for quick access.
- Test the wagon’s engine response before venturing far from the Village.

03 / THE GUIDE
Time Dial
A handcrafted dial indicates three distinct time zones—Day, Night, and Deep Night—each signaled by a bell, letting you gauge the current lighting conditions.
Being away from the wagon after Day is discouraged, as Night and Deep Night increase the likelihood of hostile encounters.
- Listen for the bell to know when the dial changes.
- Plan risky area entry during Day whenever possible.

Monsters & Death
A range of monsters populate the world; even a brief encounter can end your pilgrimage, forcing you to retreat or die.
In co‑op play death is not final—friends can revive a fallen teammate, though the revival carries an unspecified cost.
- Observe creature behavior from a distance before engaging.
- Cover each other's blind spots when traveling with teammates.

Multiplayer & Co‑op
Pilgrim supports solo, online co‑op, and LAN co‑op modes, allowing you to recruit friends to travel together in the same wagon.
Friends can join the journey at any time, sharing the wagon’s resources and facing the road’s challenges as a group.
- Invite friends before starting a session to fill the wagon.
- Test LAN connectivity if playing locally with nearby players.
