About Pegfinity

Pegfinity is a short, colorful, physics‑based incremental where each ball launch can spark massive chain reactions. Boards are randomly generated and filled with explosive, electric, gold and quirky pegs that create absurd combos and huge score spikes.

Between runs you unlock permanent upgrades—multipliers, stronger pegs and chaotic gadgets like lasers and portals—that make every shot more unpredictable. Quick sessions can grow into long, dopamine‑filled runs as you chase ever‑bigger numbers.

01 / THE GUIDE

Gameplay Loop

You launch a ball onto a randomly generated board, watching it bounce off pegs and trigger chain reactions. Each hit adds to your score and can activate special effects, building larger combos.

When a run ends, you return to the upgrade screen to unlock upgrades before launching again. The loop repeats, with each run offering new ways to boost scores through upgraded pegs and gadgets.

  • Notice which peg types generate the biggest combos and consider upgrades that enhance them.
  • Try launching balls from different angles to discover hidden cascade paths.

02 / THE GUIDE

Upgrade System

Over 150 upgrades are available, ranging from multipliers and stronger pegs to physics‑cheating gadgets such as lasers and portals. Upgrades are permanent and persist across runs, gradually increasing scoring potential.

Each run provides opportunities to unlock additional upgrades, letting you shape how chaotic or controlled the board becomes. Special balls that shatter, zap or spray watermelon juice are also part of the upgrade pool.

  • Prioritize multiplier upgrades early for faster score growth.
  • Combine gadget upgrades with stronger pegs to balance chaos and reliability.

03 / THE GUIDE

Random Board Generation

Every run starts on a freshly generated board, ensuring no two sessions are identical. Boards contain a mix of explosive, electric, gold and quirky pegs such as chickens, UFOs and an atomic bomb that hits everything.

The randomness creates new cascade possibilities each launch, encouraging experimentation with ball trajectories and upgrade combinations.

  • Treat each new board as a chance to test recently unlocked upgrades.
  • Observe recurring peg patterns that may hint at effective launch spots.

Control Options

Pegfinity offers full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense, and provides a mouse‑only option for precise aiming. These input methods let you choose the device that feels most comfortable.

The game does not require timed input, allowing you to take as much time as needed to plan each shot and focus on strategy rather than reflex speed.

  • Use the mouse‑only mode for fine‑tuned angle adjustments during complex runs.
  • Switch between controller and mouse to see which input feels more natural for your playstyle.

05 / THE GUIDE

Progression Loop

Each hit provides a small dopamine boost, and permanent power‑ups like multipliers and stronger pegs make later runs feel more impactful. Upgrades grow stronger over time, feeding into subsequent runs.

The loop of launching balls, earning scores, unlocking upgrades and returning to a more chaotic board drives long‑term engagement, turning short sessions into extended play periods.

  • Track your highest combo streaks to gauge the effectiveness of new upgrades.
  • Aim for runs that end with board‑filling effects for maximum score spikes.
