About Park Beyond
Park Beyond puts you in the role of a Visioneer, blending creation, management, and design into one experience. You shape every facet of a theme park, from daring coaster loops to family‑friendly flat rides, using modular building tools and terraforming.
The game offers a learning Campaign Mode with guided tutorials and a flexible Sandbox Mode that lets you adjust money, research, and land‑purchase rules. Single‑player play is supported on Windows with full controller compatibility and Steam features such as achievements and cloud saves.
01 / THE GUIDE
Modular Building and Terraforming
The modular system lets you group, save, and duplicate custom ride scenery, enabling rapid iteration of park layouts. You can also raise mountains or reshape terrain to suit coaster designs, giving you visual and functional freedom.
Thousands of themed scenery props are available in the base game, allowing you to decorate paths, create themed areas, and craft a cohesive aesthetic that matches your vision.
- Experiment with grouping props before placing them to speed up large‑scale builds.
- Use terrain elevation to add natural excitement to coaster drops.

Staffing and Guest Services
Hiring specialized staff is required to support guests, and you direct their roles to keep visitors satisfied. Adjusting ride placement, pricing, and shop locations helps you cater to different audience segments.
Heatmap tools provide detailed insight into visitor enjoyment, allowing precise tweaks to improve overall park performance and guest happiness.
- Observe heatmaps after opening new rides to fine‑tune placement.
- Balance staff numbers with guest flow to avoid bottlenecks.

Heatmap Feedback System
Heatmaps visualize where guests spend time and how they react to attractions, giving you data‑driven guidance. This tool helps you identify popular zones and under‑performing areas for targeted improvements.
By interpreting heatmap colors, you can adjust ride pricing, shop placement, or scenery to boost satisfaction across different visitor groups.
- Focus on red‑hot zones to expand successful attractions.
- Use cooler areas as opportunities for new ride placement.

Guided Campaign Experience
New Visioneers can learn in Campaign Mode, where Cloudstormer colleagues introduce each park‑building aspect. The mode presents refurbishment challenges and a storyline involving the rival company Hemlock.
This structured approach teaches creation, management, and design fundamentals before you move to open‑ended play.
- Follow the tutorial prompts to learn core mechanics early.
- Take notes on Hemlock’s challenges for ideas in sandbox play.
05 / THE GUIDE
Customizable Sandbox Play
Sandbox Mode lets you toggle limits such as infinite money or disabled research, or make challenges harder by reducing starting funds or requiring land purchases. This flexibility supports both relaxed building and strict tycoon challenges.
You can freely experiment with park layouts, ride combinations, and decorative themes without narrative constraints, making it ideal for testing ideas discovered in Campaign Mode.
- Start with unlimited money to prototype ambitious coaster designs.
- Switch to land‑purchase constraints for a realistic budgeting exercise.
