About Paranormal Cleanup
Paranormal Cleanup is a multiplayer horror title where up to four players act as cleaning‑company employees tasked with tidying haunted sites. The core loop involves disposing of moldy pizza, unclogging toilets, scrubbing ectoplasm and removing trash while staying out of reach of roaming entities.
Each mission randomizes item locations, objectives and entity events, so no two playthroughs are identical. Players can cooperate online, use proximity voice chat, and optionally pursue optional objectives that may weaken or banish the pursuing entity.

Online Co‑op Play
The game supports up to four players in online co‑op, allowing friends to tackle cleaning jobs together or a single player to attempt a mission alone. All actions such as unclogging a toilet increase the entity’s anger, so timing and coordination matter.
Proximity voice chat lets you hear teammates only when their in‑game characters are nearby, adding tension when distant screams echo through a hallway. This audio cue can help groups decide when to hide or press forward.
- Keep teammates within hearing range when you need coordinated moves, but spread out to avoid a single entity sighting catching everyone.
- Listen for distant voice cues as an early warning of entity proximity.

Eight Distinct Locations
Paranormal Cleanup features eight unique maps, including suburban houses, whole streets, a summer camp and a high school. Each location hosts its own supernatural threat, meaning the type of entity you face changes with the map.
The game includes a variety of cleaning tasks, such as fixing broken sewage pipes or scrubbing ectoplasm, providing variety in each run.
- Survey the map early to identify likely entity types based on the environment.
- Plan your cleaning order around tight spaces to reduce the time spent exposed.

Paranormal Threats and Banishment
Every map contains a supernatural entity that pursues players relentlessly. Each cleaning action raises the entity’s anger, making it more aggressive and harder to avoid.
Some missions include optional objectives that, when completed, can weaken or even banish the entity, offering a calmer environment for the remaining cleanup tasks.
- Consider completing optional banishment objectives if you prefer a less hostile session.
- Watch the entity’s behavior; sudden increases in aggression often follow louder actions.

Progression System
After each cleanup, players earn experience points and in‑game currency ($$$). These can be spent on new gear, perks and character outfits, allowing gradual improvement across multiple playthroughs.
The game lets you unlock outfits for your character, while perks affect gameplay. The system lets you tailor your character toward stealthier or more aggressive cleaning approaches based on personal preference.
- Experiment with different perk combinations to see which matches your playstyle best.
- Save some currency for new gear as you progress.

3D Audio and Accessibility
The game employs immersive 3D audio, reinforcing the horror atmosphere as you hide from approaching entities. The game supports stereo and surround sound and offers custom volume controls.
Proximity voice chat adds realism by letting you hear teammates only when their characters are nearby, reinforcing the horror atmosphere and aiding situational awareness.
- Enable surround sound if available; it clarifies the direction of entity movement.
- Balance game volume with voice chat volume to keep both cues audible.
