The game blends adventure, farming, and light role‑play. You can shape a ranch, befriend a range of dinosaurs, explore varied landscapes, and interact with quirky townsfolk who offer quests, items, and occasional gifts.
01 / THE GUIDE
Dinosaur Befriending
Wild dinosaurs respond to a flute call you can mimic; after the call you may offer a treat and a nose boop to win their trust. The description frames this as coaxing them near, then sealing the deal with a tasty treat and trustworthy nose boop.
Each new encounter is recorded in the Dino Journal, and some dinosaurs appear only under special conditions. This encourages continued island exploration to locate harder‑to‑find species and expand your collection.
- Listen to the call pattern before approaching a dinosaur.
- Check the Dino Journal after each new encounter.

Ranch Building
Your ranch can feature square pens or free‑form enclosures, and you may decorate them with items found across the island. The description notes that locals might comment on unconventional layouts, adding a social element to design choices.
Farming starts with manual planting and watering; as you gain dinosaur trust, they help deliver harvests that you can trade with villagers, turning the ranch into a market hub.
- Balance pen size with the needs of each dinosaur.
- Observe any comments from townsfolk about your layout.
