About Overpass 2
Overpass 2 is an off‑road racing simulation that mixes high‑speed competition with obstacle navigation. Players choose from more than thirty official UTVs, ATVs and rock‑bouncers built by manufacturers such as Yamaha, Arctic Cat and Suzuki, then tackle five distinct race formats across deserts, forests, mountains and circuits.
The game includes a career mode where you manage a team, sponsors and a budget while advancing through a skill tree. Online multiplayer supports up to eight racers, and a range of vehicle settings let you adapt power, motor functions and transmission to each terrain.

Race Modes
Overpass 2 offers five race formats: off‑road sprint, off‑road circuit, hill climb, obstacle course and closed circuit. Each format presents a different balance of speed, technical sections and obstacle density, requiring you to analyse the track before you start.
Success in every mode depends on choosing routes that minimise slow‑downs from rocks, mud or tree trunks. The game rewards regularity and precision, so maintaining a smooth line often yields better times than pure acceleration.
- Practice each mode on a short route to learn where obstacles appear.
- Focus on maintaining a steady pace rather than chasing top speed.

Vehicle Settings
You can adjust a wide range of settings—including power, motor functions and transmission—to suit the terrain of each race. Over thirty official vehicles each have distinct technical characteristics that respond differently to these adjustments.
Manufacturers such as Polaris, Yamaha, Arctic Cat, Kawasaki and Suzuki are represented, and the game lists driver equipment brands like Alpinestars and Arai. The equipment list is informational and does not state a direct performance effect.
- Match transmission gearing to the surface type for smoother acceleration.
- Compare how two vehicles handle the same terrain after adjusting power settings.

Career Mode
The career mode lets you manage a team, sponsors and a budget while making research and development choices. Progress is visualised on a skill tree that guides vehicle upgrades and other decisions.
Balancing finances with sponsor expectations is essential; upgrades unlocked through R&D can improve vehicle capabilities, helping you meet objectives across the five regions.
- Plan upgrades that address the most common obstacles in your current region.
- Keep an eye on sponsor requirements to avoid unexpected budget cuts.

Environments
Races take place on thirty routes across five regions: Baja Desert, East Central US, Johnson Valley, Utah Desert and Western Europe. Four environment types—desert, forest, mountain and circuits—affect surface conditions and obstacle placement.
Natural and artificial obstacles such as rocks, mud and tree trunks can slow you down or cause vehicle damage. Selecting appropriate vehicle settings for each environment helps you navigate these hazards efficiently.
- In forest areas, increase traction settings to handle mud and fallen trunks.
- Desert routes benefit from higher top‑speed tuning on long straight sections.

Multiplayer
Online races support up to eight players and include PvP, shared/split‑screen PvP and online PvP options. Online races let you compete against other players at the controls of the game's official vehicles.
The tuning knowledge you develop in career mode can inform your vehicle choices when competing against human opponents.
- Experiment with different vehicle setups in a short online match to see how they handle opponent traffic.
- Coordinate with teammates on vehicle choices to cover varied terrain strengths.
