About Outworld Station
Outworld Station drops you into the TAU System as a Station Commander tasked with building a galaxy‑shaking industrial complex. You construct freighters, wormholes, and even harness antimatter while mining asteroids and deploying cloud‑miners to gather raw materials.
Your goal is to automate supply chains, build starships, and defend against rival forces. Up to four players can join in online co‑op, sharing construction, combat, and exploration duties while coordinating tasks for maximum efficiency.
01 / THE GUIDE
Resource Extraction
Asteroids can be atomized and mined for ores, which serve as the base material for advanced items and parts. Cloud‑miners and other automated devices can be deployed to continuously gather these raw resources.
Collected ores are processed into higher‑tier materials needed for constructing stations, ships, and upgrades. Efficient extraction and processing are essential for meeting the game’s objectives.
- Place extraction units near abundant asteroid fields to reduce travel time.
- Balance mining and processing capacity to avoid bottlenecks.

Station Construction
You can build multiple stations across various planets, each serving as a hub for resource gathering and production. Stations can be linked via wormholes to form interstellar supply chains.
Construction includes setting up elaborate supply‑chains and automating resource flow, allowing you to fulfill objectives efficiently while expanding your industrial reach.
- Connect stations with wormholes to streamline material transport.
- Automate supply lines early to free up manual management.

Ship Building
Both civilian and military vessels can be constructed, each requiring distinct techniques. Ships are used to complete objectives and unlock further technologies.
Advanced ship designs may incorporate weapons, shields, or afterburners, enhancing combat capability and navigation through hostile zones.
- Prioritize military ship upgrades when facing aggressive opponents.
- Use civilian ships for resource transport to keep combat vessels free.
04 / THE GUIDE
Combat and Defence
The alien star system hosts rival forces that can threaten your stations and ships. Upgrading weapons, shields, and afterburners helps you survive hostile encounters.
Upgrades can also increase station power and production efficiency, helping you maintain operations while under attack.
- Upgrade shields before weapons if your station is frequently targeted.
- Use afterburners for quick repositioning during combat.

Multiplayer Co‑op
Online co‑op supports up to four players who can share exploration, combat, and construction tasks. Teams can assign to‑do lists to coordinate efforts across the system.
Co‑op play encourages division of labour, letting players focus on specific aspects such as mining, ship building, or defence while maintaining overall efficiency.
- Assign each player a dedicated role to avoid overlap.
- Use shared to‑do lists to keep the team aligned on priorities.
