About Nobody Saves the World

Nobody Saves the World puts you in the role of Nobody, a shape‑shifting hero tasked with halting an ancient Calamity. The game mixes action‑RPG combat with a whimsical transformation system that lets you become creatures such as a Slug, Ghost, Dragon, Rat, Rogue, Robot, and more.

You explore a large overworld, tackle procedurally generated dungeons, and complete quirky quests for eccentric inhabitants. With 15+ Forms, over 80 abilities, co‑op options, an endless endgame dungeon, and a New Game+ mode, the experience stays fresh long after the main story ends.

01 / THE GUIDE

Forms & Abilities

Unlock more than fifteen distinct Forms, each with its own gameplay mechanics. Every Form grants a set of abilities that can be mixed and matched across the roster, letting you craft varied builds.

The ability pool exceeds eighty entries, including unique actions such as an Egg that leaves a slime trail and fires fireballs. Mixing abilities from different Forms creates unexpected combos for combat and quest solutions.

  • Try pairing abilities from unrelated Forms to discover surprising synergies.
  • Start with a few core abilities, then expand as new Forms become available.

02 / THE GUIDE

Quest Design

Quests are offered by the world’s strange inhabitants and often require creative use of your current Form’s abilities. Each Form also carries its own set of quests, encouraging you to switch forms frequently.

The game rewards imaginative solutions rather than a single prescribed method, so the same quest can be solved in many different ways depending on the Form you choose.

  • Read quest descriptions for hints about which Form abilities might help.
  • Attempt a quest with a Form you rarely use to explore alternative strategies.

03 / THE GUIDE

Evolving Dungeons

Dungeons are procedurally generated and increase in difficulty and complexity as you acquire stronger Forms and abilities. This scaling forces you to adapt your strategy for each run.

Because the layout and enemy patterns change each time, revisiting earlier dungeons after unlocking new Forms can present fresh challenges and new pathways.

  • Re‑enter earlier dungeons after unlocking a new Form to test its impact.
  • Watch enemy patterns; higher difficulty often adds new attack variations.

04 / THE GUIDE

Co‑op Play

Local and online co‑op let a second player join you at any point, sharing the adventure through split‑screen or networked play. Both players can take part in the transformation-based adventure together.

Co‑op can be used for the entire campaign or just selected sections, giving flexibility in how you experience the game together.

  • Coordinate Form choices with your partner to cover a broader range of abilities.
  • Use split‑screen mode to keep both players aware of each other's positioning.

05 / THE GUIDE

Endgame & New Game+

After completing the main story, an infinite, ever‑changing endgame dungeon appears. Clearing it can unlock a new form, and you can build a statue to celebrate your skills.

New Game+ restarts the adventure with leveled‑up enemies and remixed difficulty modifiers, putting your Forms and abilities to the test against a fresh challenge.

  • Enter New Game+ to test high‑level ability combos against tougher foes.
  • Check which Forms you have unlocked before tackling the endless dungeon for optimal preparation.
