About Neo ATLAS 1469
Set in 15th‑century Europe, Neo ATLAS 1469 puts you in charge of a trading company tasked with completing a world map. You listen to admirals’ sea reports and decide which to approve, shaping the map’s geography and lore.
Beyond mapping, you manage wages, build a fleet, and establish trade routes that unlock exotic products and hidden treasures. Your choices affect profits and the world’s appearance, offering multiple possible outcomes.
01 / THE GUIDE
World Mapping
The core objective is to chart the World Map by sending admirals on voyages. At the end of each trip they deliver reports, and your sole decision—Approve or Disapprove—determines how the map evolves.
Approved reports add new lands, while disapproved ones are omitted, allowing the world to diverge into different configurations based on your judgment.
- Compare multiple reports before deciding to capture a broader view of the world.
- Consider the narrative tone of reports; fantastical claims may lead to unique map features.

Admiral Reports
Admirals return with accounts ranging from mundane trade observations to tales of mythical creatures like krakens. These reports serve as the only source of new geographic information.
The content of each report influences the map’s shape, and the variety of reports encourages careful evaluation of credibility versus imagination.
- Note recurring details across different admirals to identify reliable information.
- Balance imaginative reports with realistic ones to create a diverse yet coherent map.

Establishing Trade Routes
You must pay admirals wages and maintain a fleet, which costs resources. As you discover exotic products from new lands, you can set up trade routes to generate profit.
Combining specific products on a route may trigger the emergence of a new product, offering even larger profit opportunities.
- Link routes that bring together complementary goods to unlock new products.
- Monitor wage costs to ensure trade profits outweigh fleet expenses.

Treasure Detection
Hidden treasures are scattered across the map, awaiting discovery. Scouring the entire map manually can be tedious, but a built‑in detection tool helps locate them more efficiently.
Using the detection tool streamlines treasure hunting, allowing you to focus on extraction and profit rather than exhaustive searching.
- Run the detection tool after major map expansions to locate new treasure sites.
- Prioritize treasures near established trade routes for quicker access.
