About Nanairo Reincarnation
Nanairo Reincarnation follows college senior Kagami Makoto as he inherits his late grandfather’s estate. His ordinary plans are interrupted when his childhood friend Iyo appears as a zashiki‑warashi, a self‑proclaimed demon named Kikyou shows up, and a police detective urges him to resume his family’s spiritual duties.
Equipped with a hereditary clairvoyance that lets him see spirits, Makoto must aid wandering souls and assist the police with supernatural crimes. The story builds toward a large‑scale case that threatens the town, testing his ability to become the rightful successor of his family’s legacy.

Story premise
Makoto is in his third year of college when he inherits his grandfather’s estate, setting the stage for the game’s events. The narrative quickly introduces supernatural characters: Iyo, a zashiki‑warashi who looks unchanged from childhood, and Kikyou, who claims to be a demon.
A police detective then appears, asking Makoto to fulfill his family’s duty of guiding wandering spirits and handling paranormal crimes. This premise blends everyday college life with a supernatural investigation that escalates into a case bigger than any of them ever imagined.

The game provides several narrative routes, allowing players to experience different story outcomes. Choices made during interactions with characters such as Iyo, Kikyou, and the detective determine which route is followed.
Each route presents distinct dialogue and scene variations, giving players the chance to explore alternative developments of Makoto’s role as a spirit‑mediator and detective collaborator.

Art and voice
Illustrations throughout the game are created by Sumeragi Kohaku, giving the title a consistent visual identity. The art appears in CG galleries, scene mode, and throughout gameplay, reinforcing the supernatural atmosphere.
All dialogue is fully voiced in Japanese except for the protagonist Makoto, who remains unvoiced. This vocal presentation adds personality to the supporting cast while keeping Makoto’s perspective silent.
- Listen for vocal cues that hint at character motives.
- Compare the art style across CG and in‑game scenes.

Scene mode
Scene mode lets players replay key moments from the story without advancing the main plot. This feature provides a way to revisit narrative highlights and examine details that may have been missed on first playthrough.
The mode works alongside the CG and music galleries, offering additional context for events and allowing players to reflect on plot developments before making future choices.
- Use scene mode to clarify plot points before major decisions.
- Rewatch scenes to catch subtle visual details.
