About Mythical Concept STARNAUT
Starnaut is a single‑player action title that blends survivor‑style combat with high‑speed Nitro Jumps and Dashes. Players control Copiasu, a designer baby turned interdimensional starfarer, as he battles endless hordes of the ZOL menace across more than 60 distinct stages.
The loop centers on automatic weapon fire, coin collection, and the launch of Ω‑Rockets, which both clear stages and provide vital oxygen. Upgrades are purchased from the Shopnaut, and the game supports full controller input, Steam Cloud, and family sharing.
01 / THE GUIDE
Multiverse Stages
Stages are described as “diverse and exciting,” with over 60 of them forming the battlegrounds where combat takes place. Each stage is generated by the Starnaut’s power to draw together distant realities, creating a unique arena for the player.
The core objective in every stage is to survive enemy waves while launching ten Ω‑Rockets. The rockets also serve as the player’s oxygen source, making their deployment essential to completing the stage.
- Observe how enemy density changes between early and later stages to gauge difficulty spikes.
- Time rocket launches to keep oxygen steady during peak enemy attacks.

Automatic Weapon System
Weapons fire automatically, removing the need for manual shooting. Players select eight weapons at the start, and once purchased they have infinite ammo and never break, allowing continuous combat without reload management.
The Antenna weapon set is highlighted as a solid all‑rounder for newcomers. All weapon purchases are made through the Shopnaut using coins earned from defeated enemies.
- Try the Antenna set early to establish a reliable damage baseline.
- Mix weapon types with suit upgrades to balance offense and survivability.

Coin Economy
Defeated enemies drop coins, which are spent at the Shopnaut for weapon upgrades, helmets, spacesuit enhancements, armor, and auto‑recovery. The loop “Defeat Enemies → Collect Coins → Visit Shopnaut” is presented as the primary progression method.
Purchases are made before each run, allowing players to tailor their load‑out to the escalating threats encountered in later stages.
- Prioritize armor or auto‑recovery early to increase durability.
- Track coin intake per stage to plan upgrades before tougher arenas.

Oxygen Management
Ω‑Rockets provide the player’s oxygen, acting as a lifeline throughout each stage. Launching ten rockets is required to clear a stage, and activating them regularly maintains the oxygen supply.
No other oxygen sources are mentioned, so timing rocket launches becomes a key survival consideration during combat.
- Launch rockets as soon as they become available to keep oxygen levels high.
- Align rocket launches with moments when enemy waves are less intense.

Character and Narrative
The player embodies Copiasu, the eighth designer baby created by two AIs, tasked with retrieving scattered Ω‑Rockets to resurrect Earth. Supporting characters include Stella, an AI form, and Wonderful, a chatbot AI who appears with Lost Data.
The story emphasizes humanity’s extinction, multiversal travel, and the responsibility carried by the Starnaut, while gameplay focuses on combat, upgrades, and stage completion.
- Notice when characters like Wonderful appear, as they often accompany Lost Data items.
- Use narrative cues to anticipate when new suit upgrades may become available.
