About My Summer Car
My Summer Car is a single‑player simulation where you begin surrounded by hundreds of loose parts and must build a functional vehicle from the ground up while surviving a Finnish summer.
Beyond the car you also manage basic needs—eating sausages, drinking beer, and sleeping—to stay capable of driving, handling AI traffic, and completing jobs across dozens of kilometers of dirt and paved roads.

Car Assembly
You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and must assemble both the chassis and engine before the first drive.
Correct placement and wiring are required; missing or mis‑connected components prevent the car from starting, emphasizing the meticulous building focus.
- Compare part shapes before attaching to avoid mismatches.
- Refer to the in‑game manual for wiring routes.

Personal Survival
The character can satisfy hunger with sausages and thirst with beer, while sleeping restores fatigue for longer sessions.
These basic actions are sufficient to keep you functional for driving, taking jobs, and enjoying other summer activities.
- Keep a small stock of sausages for quick hunger relief.
- Take short naps to restore fatigue before long drives.

Money and Upgrades
Random paying jobs appear across the map, providing cash to cover food, fuel, and future parts.
When enough money is saved you can order new components by snail mail to tune or transform the car.
- Prioritize higher‑paying jobs to accumulate funds faster.
- Save a portion of earnings for unexpected repairs.

Rally & Inspection
A rally event becomes available once the car meets competitive standards, allowing you to race against AI opponents.
Legal road use also requires passing an inspection; failure may attract police attention and result in fines.
- Check lights and brakes before heading to the inspection.
- Use rally tuning as a benchmark for performance improvements.
