About MXGP 2019 - The Official Motocross Videogame
MXGP 2019 brings the licensed 2019 MXGP and MX2 championships to PC, featuring every rider, bike and team from the season. Races travel to real‑world venues such as Neuquen and Shanghai, and a dynamic weather system can alter conditions during a race.
Beyond the championship, the game includes a Track Editor, a free‑roam Playground, a Waypoint time‑trial mode, and visual customization with over 10,000 items. Multiplayer options cover online PvP, Steam Achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
01 / THE GUIDE
Current Season
The season mode follows the 2019 MXGP and MX2 calendars, letting you race on each official circuit with the full roster of riders, bikes and teams. You may compete as a sponsored rider or be hired by an official team.
During races the dynamic weather feature can change conditions, so a sunny start may become rainy later, mirroring real‑world variability.
- Observe how the track layout differs between MXGP and MX2 events to understand each class’s demands.
- Watch for visual cues such as darkening clouds that precede a weather shift.
02 / THE GUIDE
Track Editor
The Track Editor lets you design custom motocross circuits using a variety of landscapes and terrain types. Completed tracks can be shared with the community for others to race.
The editor operates independently of other modes; it is a separate creative tool that does not require the Waypoint mode, which instead focuses on placing checkpoints for time‑trial challenges.
- Combine steep hills with loose sand to see how terrain influences visual flow.
- Share a track and note community feedback for future refinements.

The Playground
Set in the French region of Provence, the Playground provides a training area where you can ride freely or race on two MX tracks, one SX track and one Enduro track.
Within the Playground you can toggle weather and day/night settings, and completing a series of tests awards unique customization sets.
- Try the same jump under sunny and rainy weather to compare visual differences.
- Switch between day and night to notice how lighting affects depth perception.

Customization
Both MXGP and MX2 classes let you choose between two‑stroke and four‑stroke engines and personalize rider gear and bike parts. Over 10,000 items are available for visual customization.
Customization options are presented as visual and aesthetic choices, allowing you to distinguish your rider and machine from others.
- Mix and match gear colors to create a distinct visual identity.
- Save several load‑outs so you can quickly switch between MXGP and MX2 events.

The game supports online player‑versus‑player races, letting you compete against others worldwide. Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud are listed among the game’s features.
Full controller support is listed, and Family Sharing lets multiple accounts access the same installation.
