About Mutant Football League
Mutant Football League is an arcade‑style football title where mutants, monsters and ghouls clash on trap‑laden fields. Matches can be won by scoring the most points or by eliminating the opposing squad, and the game emphasizes violent, over‑the‑top action.
The roster includes 18 distinct teams and 18 hazardous arenas, with Dirty Tricks such as Bribe the Ref, Bombs, Shotguns and Chainsaws available during play. Play modes range from single‑player exhibitions to a full season that culminates in the Mayhem Bowl, with both online and local multiplayer options.
01 / THE GUIDE
Dirty Tricks
During a match players can activate Dirty Tricks like Bribe the Ref, throw Bombs, or equip Shotguns and Chainsaws. These actions directly affect calls, add explosive damage or increase melee lethality, creating strategic alternatives to pure scoring.
Each team’s theme influences which tricks feel appropriate, and timing a trick to coincide with an arena hazard can turn a routine play into a decisive kill or a sudden score swing.
- Experiment with each trick in Practice mode to see how it interacts with specific arena hazards.
- Observe opponent behavior after a bribe; a well‑timed call can shift momentum.

Teams and Characters
The league features 18 teams, including Skeletal Deadheads, Armored Bruiserbots, Criminal Aliens, Mutated Humans and Monstrous Orcs. Star players such as Drak Bloodclot, Despawn Rotsom, and Jorgan Lust are highlighted for high kill counts.
Choosing a team determines the visual style of the match and aligns with particular Dirty Tricks, but all teams share the same core gameplay mechanics.
- Try a few different teams in Exhibition matches to notice visual and thematic differences.
- Note whether certain characters’ abilities seem to complement specific arena hazards.

Arenas and Hazards
There are 18 unique fields, each populated with landmines, booby traps, fire pits, toxic moats and buzz‑saws. These environmental elements act as additional weapons that can be used against opponents.
Arena layouts are designed for exploitation; a well‑placed Bomb or a timed Bribe can push an opponent into a trap, making terrain a decisive factor in many matches.
- Study the layout of a new arena before a match to anticipate where hazards will activate.
- Coordinate a teammate’s trick to drive opponents toward a known trap.

Game Modes
Available modes include Exhibition, Practice, Playoffs and a Full Season that ends with the Mayhem Bowl. All modes share the same violent rules but differ in length and competitive pressure.
After the final whistle, Post‑Play Mayhem lets players continue with brass knuckles, body slams and rib‑crushing kicks, extending the chaotic experience beyond regular gameplay.
- Start with Exhibition to learn core mechanics before committing to a Full Season.
- Use Playoffs to test team composition under higher stakes.
