About Motor Town: Behind The Wheel
Motor Town: Behind The Wheel drops you into a 24 × 16 km open world that cycles between day and night. While driving you must watch fuel, engine temperature, and tire grip, all of which are reported in‑game.
The title offers both single‑player and online multiplayer. You can take passenger or cargo jobs, compete in races, time‑attack, and autocross, or build a transport company that employs AI drivers or other players.
01 / THE GUIDE
Open World Exploration
The map spans 24 × 16 km and features a day‑and‑night cycle, letting you drive at any hour. Environmental feedback such as engine temperature and fuel level appears on screen as you travel.
During exploration you may pick up hitchhikers, refuel at stations, and encounter police while driving.
- Monitor engine temperature on long trips and plan stops at service points.
- Compare visibility and traffic density between daylight and night drives.

Realistic Tire and Vehicle Physics
The game uses sophisticated tire physics, allowing you to feel grip levels and the effect of drifting. Pressing the Burnout key lets the rear wheels lose traction for controlled slides.
Driving Assist is available for keyboard players, and controllers are supported, giving a smoother handling option while keeping the underlying physics unchanged.
- Try Burnout on low‑traction surfaces to gauge slip.
- Toggle Driving Assist on and off to notice how physics affect control.

Passenger and Cargo Jobs
Jobs include taxi and bus services for hitchhikers, as well as truck and semi‑trailer runs for cargo. Each job requires you to manage refueling and, for cargo, select a suitable vehicle.
Special vehicle jobs such as police, tow truck, and ambulance are listed as future additions.
- Match vehicle size to cargo load for smoother trips.
- Use horn and blinkers when transporting passengers to signal intent.

Multiplayer Competitive Modes
Online leaderboards track performance in time‑attack and autocross events, letting you compare speeds with other players. Races can be set on on‑road or off‑road tracks, and street‑race events can be opened via waypoints.
Both PvP and co‑op sessions are supported, allowing friends or strangers to play together.
- Check the leaderboard after each time‑attack to gauge improvement.
- Experiment with on‑road and off‑road tracks to learn handling differences.

Company Creation and Management
Players can establish a transport company, defining bus or truck routes. AI drivers or other players can be hired to operate these routes, adding a light management layer.
The game includes buying or renting cars, along with features such as headlights, horn, and autopilot.
- Start with a short route to test AI driver performance before expanding.
- Use autopilot for routine trips to focus on other activities.
