About MoonMiners
MoonMiners drops you onto a bleak lunar outpost where a mining crew must meet a ruthless corporation’s quota. Each mission is a self‑contained shift that mixes resource extraction, base repair and survival against hostile alien life.
Complicating matters, a hidden saboteur can undermine the team from within, while players must also manage equipment and coordinate roles. Success means delivering ore; failure means becoming another casualty on the Moon’s unforgiving surface.
01 / THE GUIDE
Core Gameplay Loop
Players restore base systems, assign responsibilities, scan the ground for deposits and follow strict corporate protocols to extract, process and load ore into crates. The loop repeats each mission until the quota is met or the crew is eliminated.
All actions occur under pressure from external threats and the possibility of internal sabotage, requiring teams to balance efficiency with caution.
- Restore power early to enable scanning without delay.
- Assign clear roles at the start to keep workflow organized.

Traitor Mechanic
One crew member may secretly work against the team, sabotaging equipment, stealing ore or blocking airlocks. Their actions are hidden until the consequences become apparent, adding mistrust to every decision.
The traitor’s agenda can include sabotage, disorganization, or murder, making teamwork fragile and requiring players to watch each other's behavior closely.
- Watch for unusual actions like ore being thrown into a crater.
- Discuss suspicious behavior openly to identify potential saboteurs.

Alien Threats
Aggressive alien creatures creep onto the base from multiple directions, attacking players who are busy with mining tasks. Their presence forces crews to defend while maintaining production.
These monsters are unpredictable, making each session feel unique and demanding quick reactions alongside the extraction workflow.
- Keep a weapon ready while scanning to react instantly to creature spawns.
- Use the base’s defensive equipment to buy time for ore processing.

Equipment and Vehicles
The base houses various tools and equipment, including lunar rovers that speed movement across the surface and help transport loot. All gear can be used to aid extraction and defense.
Players may move faster with rovers and can also use other base equipment to support their tasks, though misuse can hinder progress.
- Use rovers for quick relocation when the base is under attack.
- Plan equipment placement to avoid blocking teammates.

Multiplayer Modes
MoonMiners supports both cooperative and PvP play online. Teams can work together to meet quotas, while PvP elements allow players to sabotage each other directly.
The game also offers a single‑player option, letting a lone miner attempt the same challenges without a crew.
- When playing solo, focus on self‑sufficiency and early base repairs.
- In co‑op, assign clear roles to reduce overlap and potential sabotage.
