About Moo Who?

Moo Who? is a multiplayer party game where players use their microphones to imitate farm animals while hiding among NPC herds. One side plays as animals trying to blend in, the other side are hunters hunting the impostors. Matches are short, chaotic and rely on vocal deception, timed sound‑pressure moments, and careful shotgun shots. Up to eight players can join online for fast‑paced rounds full of suspicion and funny animal noises.

01 / THE GUIDE

Voice Mimicry

Each animal player receives a species and must use their microphone to mimic that animal’s sound, such as mooing like a cow or clucking like a chicken. The goal is to sound believable enough to avoid detection by hunters. The game does not provide any automated sound; success depends entirely on the player’s vocal performance. Failure to convince hunters can lead to being exposed during the sound‑pressure moment.

  • Practice the animal call before the match.
  • Match the pitch and rhythm of real animal sounds.

02 / THE GUIDE

Sound‑Pressure Moment

When the sound‑pressure moment begins, animal players must emit their animal sound quickly. Delaying too long allows buzzing flies to appear around the player, making their location obvious to hunters. These flies act as a visual cue for hunters, turning a silent hide into a marked target. Timing the call is therefore crucial to stay hidden.

  • Stay ready to vocalize as soon as the timer starts.
  • Listen for the cue that signals the moment.

03 / THE GUIDE

Hunter Shotgun

Hunters are equipped with a shotgun and can fire at any animal they suspect. Each shot counts; a missed shot wastes an opportunity, while a correct shot brings hunters closer to victory. There is no indication of ammunition limits, so the emphasis is on careful observation and timing before pulling the trigger.

  • Observe animal behavior before shooting.
  • Reserve shots for moments of high confidence.

Multiplayer Matches

Matches support 2–8 players online, creating short rounds filled with panic, suspicion, and occasional mis‑calls. Both animal and hunter roles rotate, giving each player a chance to experience both deception and detection. The chaotic nature of the game encourages quick decision‑making and vocal improvisation, making each match feel fresh and unpredictable.

  • Communicate with teammates to coordinate accusations.
  • Use the short match length to stay focused.
