About Monster Girls and the Mysterious Adventure 2
Monster Girls and the Mysterious Adventure 2 is a turn‑based roguelike RPG where each player action—move, attack, or use an item—triggers a single opponent action on a grid‑based map. The game includes a tutorial and a storyline to introduce new players.
A friend system lets you recruit monster allies, carry up to three on an adventure, and keep six more in reserve for swapping. Equipment can be customized with marks and titles, and you can furnish a house or run stores and restaurants to shape a personal village.
01 / THE GUIDE
Turn‑Based Combat
Combat occurs on a grid where a player’s chosen action—moving, attacking, or using an item—immediately prompts an opponent to act once. This alternating sequence means every decision directly influences the next enemy move.
The tutorial demonstrates this cause‑and‑effect relationship, allowing newcomers to see how positioning and item use affect the opponent’s response during dungeon runs.
- Plan movement to avoid placing enemies in attack range after your turn.
- Reserve items for moments when an opponent’s next action could be lethal.

Friend System
You can turn former enemies into allies called “Friends.” Up to three friends may join you on an adventure, while six additional friends can be stored as reserves for later swaps.
Friends can receive hand‑over skills and equipment, letting you adjust their abilities during a run by switching them in and out of the active party.
- Swap friends before entering a new dungeon area to match enemy types.
- Assign equipment that complements each friend’s innate strengths.

Equipment Customization
Gear can be customized by applying a special “mark” and a title, creating items with unique effectiveness. The game now offers a larger pool of entitled equipment with distinct effects.
Customized equipment can be handed over to friends, enhancing their combat potential and allowing you to experiment with different mark‑title pairings.
- Choose marks that boost the primary stat of the friend who will use the item.
- Use titles that add defensive bonuses for frontline allies.

Home & Village Management
Outside of dungeons you may place furniture and other objects inside or outside a personal house, giving you control over the interior layout.
The game also lets you open stores or restaurants and arrange the broader village, providing functional spaces that persist alongside your adventure progress.
- Place frequently used items near entry points for quick access.
- Balance decorative furniture with functional objects to keep the house usable.
