About MOLDRISE
MOLDRISE places you inside a thirty‑floor apartment block where an infection forces a single thought: GO UP. Your body suffers hunger, thirst and a spreading disease, yet you must keep climbing floor after floor.
The only other occupants are neighbors who request snacks, trash, favors or loyalty. The building, vending machine and dialogue stay identical each attempt, so the only variable is what you learn and how you adapt.

Narrative Premise
The infection begins in your foot and spreads to your head, leaving you with the sole clear command to ascend. This premise drives the core objective of scaling the thirty‑floor structure despite physical decline.
The building stays the same every time you wake up, and neighbors treat you the same, emphasizing that the environment itself does not evolve; only the player’s understanding of it does, as stated in the description.
- Note any repeated lines of dialogue for hidden clues.
- Track the floor number to avoid disorientation.

Neighbor Interactions
Neighbors are the sole non‑hostile entities you encounter. They each have requests for snacks, trash, favors or loyalty, and some possess knowledge beyond what they initially share.
The description notes that if you manage to talk to them you will discover what they want, indicating that conversation is the means to learn their requests.
- Listen carefully to each neighbor’s request before responding.
- Record repeated requests to identify which items appear most often.

Body Needs
Your character must manage three persistent needs: hunger, thirst and an infection. These metrics affect how long you can continue climbing before your body gives up.
Your body is about to give up under these needs, reinforcing the importance of balancing resource acquisition with upward movement.
- Prioritize items that satisfy basic needs when they become scarce.
- Watch for visual cues that indicate worsening infection.

Learning Loop
The building’s layout, vending‑machine stock and neighbor behavior remain constant across attempts. There is no randomness, so each mistake can be avoided on the next try.
Your behavior mutates like a pathogen; each new strategy builds on what you learned previously, allowing you to gradually overcome the climb.
- Keep a simple log of actions that led to success.
- Avoid repeating actions that previously caused failure.

Audio Soundtrack
MOLDRISE features a full‑length original soundtrack composed by Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t. and Machine Party.
The soundtrack provides an atmospheric backdrop that reinforces the game’s tense, repetitive setting.
- Adjust the volume to suit your focus level.
- Listen for shifts in the music that may signal key moments.
