Dimension Order
The game contains five enormous dimensions, each with its own visual theme and level layout. Players may enter any of these zones in any order, giving freedom to choose pacing and narrative exposure.
Each dimension is built with highly detailed environments that push the limits of GZDoom, delivering an otherworldly atmosphere and distinct challenges that respond to the player’s equipment upgrades.
- Try starting in a dimension that appears visually simpler to become comfortable with movement before tackling more intricate layouts.
- If a particular boss feels difficult, consider switching to another dimension to encounter new weapons before returning.

Great Strange Lore
The Great Strange is a zone where supernatural phenomena occur at an abnormal rate, drawing echoes of other worlds and contorting reality. The Hayward military group was formed to investigate and destroy these anomalies.
You play as Hayward Generation VII operative 81363‑7, tasked with entering the mining village of Kozanoda to locate missing Generation I Avlan, with lethal force authorized if capture fails.
- Review any in‑game logs for clues about Avlan’s last known location.
- Consider narrative hints when choosing which dimension to explore first.
