About Metal Fatigue

Metal Fatigue is a real‑time strategy title that expands combat across three vertical layers – orbit, surface and underground – letting players build and customize massive Combots. Base development and force coordination are crucial, as enemies may appear from any direction, including above and below.

Three CorpoNations – Milagro, Neuropa and Rimtech – each provide distinct technologies and research paths. The game offers 30 solo missions split into three ten‑mission campaigns and 30 multiplayer maps supporting up to eight players via LAN, with both cooperative and death‑match options.

01 / THE GUIDE

Combots

Combots are the core combat units that players can build and customize, serving as the primary means to dominate the three battlefield levels. Their design flexibility lets you adapt to the unique challenges of orbit, surface and underground combat.

Effective use of Combots requires careful base development and strategic deployment, as enemies can approach from any direction. Balancing firepower, mobility and durability across the three layers is key to maintaining battlefield control.

  • Experiment with different Combots configurations to see which best fits each vertical layer.
  • Consider the enemy’s possible approach direction when positioning your Combots.

Factions

Metal Fatigue features three warring factions: Milagro, Neuropa and Rimtech. Each faction belongs to a competing CorpoNation and possesses its own technologies and research capabilities, offering distinct strategic strengths and weaknesses.

Choosing a faction allows you to capitalize on its unique tech tree, influencing how you develop your base and field Combots. Understanding each faction’s advantages can provide a strategic edge in both solo and multiplayer matches.

  • Review each faction’s technology focus before committing to a campaign.
  • Match your Combots design to the strengths of your chosen faction.
