About Medieval Dynasty
Medieval Dynasty drops you onto a medieval landscape where you must claim land, build a home and gradually expand it into a thriving settlement. Starting as a farmer or hunter, you learn skills, form a family and guide villagers through harsh seasons while managing food, water, health and stamina.
The game offers a large open world split into two maps, supports solo play or cooperative sessions for up to four friends, and blends survival, crafting, town-building and RPG elements into a single experience.
01 / THE GUIDE
Land Claim and Housing
You begin by finding a plot of land where you can construct a dwelling, ranging from a simple hut to a complex farmstead. Building requires tools and resources, and tools wear down with use, so a broken implement can interrupt work at an awkward moment.
Over 25 building types and more than 120 furniture and decoration pieces let you customize interiors, while the seasonal cycle shapes construction timing and resource availability.
- Gather extra wood before winter so building work doesn't stall.
- Plan building placement early to accommodate future expansions.

Survival Mechanics
Your character's food, water, health and stamina must be monitored constantly, especially during hot summers and cold winters. Hunting, farming and trading are primary ways to secure supplies.
Tools such as pickaxes, axes and hunting gear degrade with use, so keeping a stock of replacements is essential to avoid being stranded far from home.
- Carry spare tools so a mid-task breakage doesn't end your trip.
- Balance hunting and farming to ensure steady food sources.

Skill and Character Development
A skill tree lets you purchase new abilities, allowing you to specialize or become a jack-of-all-trades. Interacting with NPCs, caring for your family, exploring and completing tasks for others all feed your character's growth.
Character customization is available through a detailed creator, letting you personalize your avatar before embarking on the adventure.
- Focus on a core skill early to streamline early tasks.
- Complete tasks for NPCs to earn experience while progressing quests.

Co-Op Multiplayer
Up to four players can join together in cooperative mode, sharing the responsibilities of building, hunting and managing the settlement. The Oxbow map supports both solo and co-op play, while the Valley is a solo experience.
Co-op sessions allow friends to coordinate town layout, resource gathering and trade, enhancing the communal aspect of the game.
- Assign each player a specific role (e.g., builder, hunter).
- Agree on resource priorities so nobody duplicates effort.

Crafting and Economy
Players can craft over 300 items, including weapons, tools, furniture and clothing. Produced goods can be traded, supporting an in-game economy that fuels village growth.
Dynamic events and quests shape your activities, while managing residents and production helps the settlement prosper.
- Prioritize crafting tools before decorative items.
- Trade surplus goods to fund materials you can't produce yourself.
