About MECCHA CHAMELEON
MECCHA CHAMELEON is a casual hide‑and‑seek experience where players paint their white avatars to blend into the stage. In the Hide and Seek mode, one team hunts while the other disguises themselves, and the hunters win by locating every hidden player before the timer expires.
The game supports online multiplayer for 2–10 participants, with public servers that let anyone join. Streamers can host viewer‑participation matches, and the Steam Workshop enables community‑created content. It runs on Windows and includes comfort options such as camera settings and custom volume controls.

Game Modes
Two modes are offered: "Hide and Seek" and "Paint". In Hide and Seek, players are divided into a Seeker team and a Hider team; the Seekers must find all Hiders before the time limit ends.
In Paint, Hiders start with a pure white body and use a painting tool to match the stage’s colors. The concealment method differs, but the objective remains the same: Seekers must locate every Hider before time runs out.
- When playing as a Hider, choose a spot that mirrors the background’s shape as well as its hue.
- Seekers should scan the environment for subtle color mismatches that reveal a painted avatar.

Painting Mechanic
Hiders begin with a completely white avatar that can be painted directly onto the model. The tool lets players apply any color, enabling them to mimic the stage’s textures and lighting like a chameleon.
Success depends on three factors: the chosen hiding spot, the pose of the avatar, and the artistic accuracy of the paint job. Better matching makes detection harder for Seekers.
- Apply the dominant colors of the surrounding area first, then add small details for realism.
- Adjust your palette quickly if the lighting or camera angle changes during a round.

Multiplayer Setup
Online PvP supports 2–10 players, though the exact maximum depends on the host’s network environment. Public servers that are not set to private allow anyone to join freely.
The recommended range is 2–10 players; future playtests may adjust this limit. Host network quality directly influences how many participants can join without performance issues.
- Test your connection before hosting a large match to avoid mid‑game disconnects.
- Keep the player count within the recommended range for smoother gameplay.

These requirements help viewers identify the game and locate its store page, supporting both creators and the developer.
