About Mars First Logistics
Mars First Logistics lets you design and assemble mechanized rovers with an intuitive, tactile editor that offers more than 100 parts, from springs to rocket engines. After building, you pilot the rover across a procedurally generated Martian landscape, delivering cargo of many types for the planet’s inhabitants.
The game can be played solo or in online co‑op with up to three friends. Each successful delivery grants funds that unlock additional parts, blueprints, and infrastructure such as roads, powerlines, and monorails, expanding the settlement you help build.
01 / THE GUIDE
Intuitive Building Editor
The editor allows you to combine over 100 distinct parts—including springs, hydraulic cylinders, servo motors, and rocket engines—to create rovers of any complexity. Placement is tactile, letting you adjust each component to meet the demands of a delivery job.
Because the editor imposes no preset limits on design, you can experiment with unconventional configurations, testing how each part influences movement and cargo handling.
- Try building a simple chassis first, then add specialized parts to see their effect.
- Observe how changing a part’s position alters the rover’s balance.

Procedurally Generated Open World
Mars First Logistics features a striking open world that is procedurally generated, so new terrain and challenges appear beyond every horizon. This ensures each delivery route presents fresh obstacles.
The vast landscape lets you travel to distant construction sites, testing rover performance across the varied Martian terrain.
- Scout ahead to identify terrain that may affect your route.
- Take note of elevation changes that could influence handling.

Varied Cargo Challenges
Deliveries may involve heavy, fragile, bouncy, or floating cargo, each requiring different handling approaches. The game does not prescribe a single solution, so rover design must adapt to cargo behavior.
These cargo variations encourage iterative design, as you may need to modify suspension, propulsion, or stability to succeed.
- Match suspension softness to bouncy loads.
- Consider adding extra support for fragile items.

Unlocking Parts and Infrastructure
Each successful delivery awards funds that can be spent to unlock new parts and blueprints, expanding the pool of components you can use in the editor.
As the settlement grows, you also gain access to infrastructure such as roads, powerlines, and monorails, which can be built to connect buildings.
- Prioritize unlocking parts that address recurring cargo issues.
- Invest in infrastructure early to shorten future travel distances.

Online Co‑op for Up to Four Players
The game supports solo missions or online co‑op with up to three friends, allowing a team to tackle deliveries together. A team can tackle deliveries together in the shared world.
Co‑op adds the possibility of coordinated effort on delivery tasks.
- Discuss rover roles before starting a mission.
- Coordinate routes to avoid collisions.
