About MannaRites
MannaRites delivers a retro‑style fantasy beat‑‘em‑up/hack‑and‑slash that mixes classic arcade action with modern RPG and loot mechanics. Players select one of four heroes—warrior, acrobat, mage or ranger—and battle across an open‑map island populated by enemies with distinct behaviors.
The title supports single‑player and split‑screen co‑op, offers three difficulty tiers, features fully voiced dialogue, an original soundtrack, and a loot system that lets you equip weapons, armor and items while mastering combat moves, skills and perks.

Playable Characters
Four heroes are defined: Jale the Warrior wields swords, axes and maces; Aryss the Acrobat uses boomerangs, sabers and daggers; Pogrom the Magus casts spells with staffs, wands and spellbooks; Mira the Ranger commands a pet falcon and fires charged arrows from short, long or bladed bows.
Each hero’s equipment reflects a distinct combat style, allowing players to align the character with a preferred approach while exploring the fantasy setting that explicitly excludes elves.
- Compare weapon ranges across heroes to see which matches typical enemy spacing.
- Try pairing contrasting heroes in co‑op to notice how their abilities complement each other.

Combat Mechanics
Combat is skill‑based, featuring special moves, throws and blocks that let players react to enemy patterns. Enemies display unique behavior and combat moves, encouraging timing and positioning.
An RPG layer adds combat moves, skills and perks that can be mastered, while the loot system supplies new weapons and armor that modify attack or defense options.
- Practice blocking and throwing against a single foe to learn opening windows.
- Swap equipped gear to see how different items suit your play-style.

Difficulty Levels
MannaRites includes three difficulty settings aimed at new players, veterans and seasoned hardcore players. The levels are aimed at different kinds of players, providing a tailored challenge.
Choosing a higher tier tests mastery of combat mechanics and character perks, while lower tiers give a more forgiving entry point for learning the systems.
- Start on the middle tier to gauge the balance between challenge and enjoyment.
- Raise the difficulty after you feel comfortable with each hero’s core moves.
