About Manifold Garden
Manifold Garden reimagines physics and space, letting players rediscover gravity while wandering an Escher‑like world of impossible architecture. Geometry repeats infinitely, so falling can return you to the same spot, encouraging creative navigation.
The single‑player adventure blends mind‑bending puzzles with striking visuals. Players manipulate gravity to walk on any visible surface, restore vegetation to a barren world, and capture images with Photo Mode. The title earned nominations for Best Debut at major industry awards.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gravity Manipulation
Changing the direction of gravity is the core mechanic. When gravity shifts, any visible plane becomes walkable, turning walls, ceilings, and floors into new pathways and allowing fresh approaches to puzzles.
Because the world loops back on itself, a gravity shift can also reveal hidden routes that were invisible from the default orientation, encouraging players to experiment before advancing.
- Test each gravity direction in a new area before moving on; new angles often expose shortcuts.
- Observe which surfaces are visible before shifting, as they become the next walkable planes.

Architectural Exploration
The environment consists of expansive structures that repeat infinitely in every direction. This endless repetition creates a sense of scale and invites players to explore maze‑like designs without a clear endpoint.
Falling down often leads you back to where you started, reinforcing the looped nature of the space and prompting careful observation of visual landmarks to keep track of progress.
- Mark distinctive landmarks to avoid losing orientation in the repeating architecture.
- Notice repeating patterns; they can hint at hidden routes or puzzle solutions.

Visuals & Photo Mode
Manifold Garden’s visual style is described as beautiful and striking, with Escher‑esque geometry that lends itself to artistic photography. Photo Mode lets players capture scenes that showcase this aesthetic.
The mode is useful for preserving memorable perspectives after a gravity shift, allowing players to revisit the interplay of light, geometry, and color later.
- Use Photo Mode after a gravity change to capture a fresh viewpoint.
- Experiment with framing different surfaces to highlight the game's geometric design.
