01 / THE GUIDE
Story and World
The narrative is set after the Emperor’s death, when his twin sons sparked a civil war between the northern Logos and southern Mythos. The Lumen, former military protectors, now guard citizens and Animon amid the turmoil, and Trey’s personal quest weaves through each culturally distinct region.
Animon are formed from Anivis, an energy that influences emotions and connects to every living soul. Understanding this bond is central to progressing the story and reveals deeper emotional themes throughout the adventure.
- Notice how each region’s visual style mirrors its faction’s emotional tone.
- Consider how the Lumen’s protective role ties into the Animon’s emotion‑based abilities.

Animon Collection
Players capture Animon with the Holoken and store them in the Anispace, a realm described as existing and not existing simultaneously. Around 140 known species span 13 elemental types, each linked to an emotion they can evoke.
Each Animon possesses unique abilities and skills, and leveling them reveals strengths and weaknesses that shape strategic team building for both solo and multiplayer encounters.
- Gather Animon from multiple elemental groups to broaden tactical options.
- Use the Anispace to organize your collection and observe the emotional themes of each type.

Battle System
Combat pits your party of Animon against opponents in 1v1 duels or 4v4 team showdowns. Victory depends on selecting abilities that exploit elemental strengths and weaknesses, with the Holoken serving both as a catching tool and a battle interface.
Strategic depth arises from matching emotional powers against opponents, requiring players to adapt tactics on the fly. Leveling up your Animon helps you outsmart opponents, adding strength to both PvE and PvP encounters.
- Experiment with different team compositions to discover effective elemental match‑ups.
- Observe opponent patterns in PvP to anticipate favored emotional abilities.

Trading and Crafting
The Animon Trade Station provides three methods to acquire missing creatures: direct trades with friends, community exchanges, or in‑game trading. While traveling, you can rest at the Fountain to craft items and cook food, experimenting with ingredients to benefit your Animon.
Crafted items and meals offer useful effects, and the trade system helps complete your collection without needing to capture every Animon yourself.
- Use community trades to fill gaps in your elemental lineup quickly.
- Try different ingredient combos at the Fountain to discover beneficial recipes.
