About Lucky Hunter
Lucky Hunter drops you into a post‑catastrophe world where monsters roam and survivors depend on hunters for water and food. Guided by an old village chief, you wield magical chess pieces and follow the legendary hunter’s path toward the demon king.
The core loop revolves around building a deck from over 100 pieces and artifacts, exploring procedurally generated maps, and battling prey in forests, swamps, volcanic regions, and snow‑capped mountains. Each hunt grants experience, new pieces, and incremental growth for your hunter.

Setting and Narrative
The story opens after a global disaster that left the land barren, crops dead, and monsters free. Survivors rely on hunters to secure water and food, and a demon king is blamed for the calamity.
A young hunter, equipped with magical chess pieces and the village chief’s guidance, sets out on the same route as the legendary lucky hunter, carrying the hopes of the entire village toward a future confrontation.
- Observe how each region’s visual design reflects the larger catastrophe.
- Consider the hunter’s motivation when reading dialogue, as it frames each chapter’s stakes.

Hunting Journey (Standard) Mode
The standard mode is divided into four chapters, each concluding with a boss battle. Players travel through procedurally generated maps, selecting nodes that may contain battles, shops, enchantments, or events.
Progress is measured by surviving encounters and defeating the chapter boss, after which the next chapter begins. Route selection adds variety while the narrative remains structured.
- Balance combat nodes with shop visits to keep your pieces strong.
- Treat each boss as a checkpoint to evaluate deck readiness.

Endless Adventure Mode
Endless Adventure presents an infinite series of increasingly powerful prey. New pieces are drawn each turn, and difficulty scales with each successive encounter.
The mode tests how long you can survive with a constantly shifting deck, offering a pure endurance challenge without a predefined narrative endpoint.
- Watch piece levels rise to gauge when the deck may become overwhelmed.
- Compare multiple runs to spot stable deck configurations.

Deck Building and Piece Combination
Players acquire new pieces each turn, and the pieces are played automatically onto the battlefield. When three same‑level pieces become adjacent, they merge into a higher‑level piece, creating stronger units without manual intervention.
With over 100 pieces and 100 artifacts available, the combination mechanic encourages careful deck building to trigger upgrades and explore synergies during battles.
- Build your deck so adjacent same‑level pieces can chain into merges.
- Note how different artifacts interact with your pieces for future tweaks.
