About Lost Eidolons

Lost Eidolons drops you into Benerio, a former seaside kingdom now a downtrodden province under the iron‑fisted conqueror Ludivictus. You command Eden, a mercenary captain turned rebel leader, as he rallies allies against imperial troops, monstrous foes, and internal betrayal.

The game blends grid‑based tactical battles, extensive squad customization, and a narrative focused on building a rebellion. After completing the story, a New Game+ mode lets you carry over stats and items to explore new strategies and difficulty levels.

01 / THE GUIDE

Story and Setting

Benerio was once a shining kingdom by the sea before Ludivictus conquered the world, turning the empire into a corrupt province. Eden’s village is thrust into war, forcing him to become a rebel commander.

The narrative follows Eden as he gathers allies, confronts imperial armies, towering monsters, and internal betrayals while trying to restore hope to the crumbling empire.

  • Read early dialogue to learn each ally’s motivation.
  • Note shifts in political control to anticipate new enemy types.

Grid‑Based Combat

Battles occur on a grid where soldiers must be positioned to exploit class and magic skills. Strategic placement is required to succeed in each scenario.

Opponents include imperial troops, towering monsters, and bosses with unique abilities, demanding constant tactical adaptation.

  • Place ranged units behind melee allies for protection.
  • Use terrain to block enemy line‑of‑sight when possible.

Squad Customization

Players can recruit over 20 characters across 10 classes, then equip and train them to unlock new skills, spells, and passive abilities.

Customization lets you shape a fighting force that matches your tactical preferences, whether focusing on magic, melee, or support roles.

  • Mix classes to cover both offensive and defensive needs.
  • Upgrade passive abilities that improve overall squad survivability.

Camp and Ally Management

Beyond combat, you must build a camp, persuade people to join, and learn their personal stories. This social layer influences morale and resources.

Helping allies navigate the highs and lows of revolution deepens bonds and can affect battle performance.

  • Listen to each ally’s story to unlock hidden bonuses.
  • Balance camp upgrades with frontline needs to avoid resource bottlenecks.

New Game+ Mode

After completing the war, a New Game+ mode lets you retain chosen stats and items, recruit new allies, and experiment with different difficulty levels.

This mode encourages revisiting battles with fresh strategies and expanded squad options.

  • Carry over high‑level gear to test new class combos early.
  • Raise difficulty gradually to gauge the impact of retained abilities.
