About Like Dreamer

Like Dreamer is a pop‑styled bullet‑hell shooter that frames its action as a social‑media showdown. Players dodge dense bullet patterns while trying to earn likes and followers on the in‑game “Bulletalk” network.

The game offers three selectable heroines, a mental‑gauge shield mechanic, a buzz‑gauge that triggers “Buzz Fever”, and multiple modes—including practice, trial and boss‑rush—that let newcomers and veterans chase achievements and gallery illustrations.

01 / THE GUIDE

Choose Your Girl

Three protagonists are described: Vanilla Alice, a geeky cosplayer who loves kawaii and shooting games; Yuricocoa, a confident high‑school girl who calls herself a black‑cat type; and UJAKO, a bullet‑playing genius who modifies Bulletalk’s program. Each character is linked to a strong need for approval.

Players may select any of the three and then adjust shots and bombs to their liking. The description does not limit the number of possible configurations, only that customization is available.

  • Try each heroine early to see which visual theme feels most motivating during intense bullet storms.
  • Observe how the character bios hint at different personality tones; that may guide your aesthetic preference.

02 / THE GUIDE

Mental Gauge System

Firing shots raises a mental gauge; as the gauge climbs, the mental level increases. When the level is high enough, a shield activates so that a hit by a bullet causes no damage.

The same gauge can be spent to launch powerful bombs. This creates a link between aggressive firing and defensive safety, giving beginners a way to survive while rewarding active play.

  • Maintain steady fire to keep the gauge rising, ensuring the shield is ready for unexpected bullet swarms.
  • Reserve gauge points for bombs at critical moments rather than using them continuously.

03 / THE GUIDE

Buzz Gauge and Buzz Fever

Likes and followers increase a buzz gauge. When the gauge reaches its maximum, a temporary state called “Buzz Fever” activates, during which the number of likes earned is greatly increased.

Buzz Fever lasts for a short period, providing a window where social‑media rewards spike. The gauge therefore ties performance to a measurable in‑game benefit.

  • Aim to fill the buzz gauge before a challenging segment to capitalize on the Buzz Fever boost.
  • Watch your likes and followers count to anticipate when the buzz gauge is nearing its maximum.

04 / THE GUIDE

Stage Select, Practice & Trial Modes

Clearing a stage releases the next one, and cleared stages remain available after a game over, allowing players to resume from the last cleared point. This gradual unlocking forms the main progression.

Practice mode lets players set start points and parameters freely, with three selectable difficulty levels. Traditional trial mode and extra modes such as Boss Rush are also included, offering varied challenges beyond the main stages.

  • Use practice mode to experiment with gauge levels before tackling higher difficulties.
  • Replay cleared stages to refine patterns and improve buzz gauge accumulation.
