About LET IT DIE: INFERNO
LET IT DIE: INFERNO is a roguelite action game where you descend into Hell Gate, a massive chasm filled with monsters and hostile forces. Each run randomizes enemies, loot, and body traits, so no two attempts feel the same.
You can play solo, team up with a friend, or compete in PvP modes while gathering SPLithium to craft stronger gear. Mastery points let you upgrade your Body, and each season resets progress, keeping the challenge fresh.
01 / THE GUIDE
Every Body Is Unique
Players start as Raiders, each equipped with distinct skills, high‑powered abilities, and passive traits. Experimenting with different Raiders changes how you approach combat and exploration.
Bodies can be swapped via the Mastery Switch, offering eight different options. This lets you continually alter your playstyle, keeping enemies uncertain and encouraging varied strategies.
- Try a Raider with strong crowd‑control to handle dense enemy clusters.
- Switch Bodies between runs to discover new synergies with random gear traits.
02 / THE GUIDE
Mastery Points and Progression
Every death awards Mastery Points, which you can spend to enhance your Body permanently. These upgrades persist across runs, allowing gradual power growth.
Eight Body types are available through the Mastery Switch, each offering unique builds. The system encourages continual refinement of your Raider’s strengths.
- Allocate points to defensive traits early if you struggle with survivability.
- Focus on offensive upgrades once you have a reliable defensive foundation.

03 / THE GUIDE
Co‑op Descent with a Friend
Two players can team up to explore Hell Gate together, watching each other's backs against Yuckies and Yotsuyama forces. Cooperative play boosts survival odds.
The shared objective is to collect SPLithium and return to the Raiders Association, making teamwork a core part of the experience.
- Coordinate skill usage to cover each other's weaknesses.
- Share loot to ensure both players have balanced gear.
04 / THE GUIDE
PvP – Death Jamboree
The game includes a competitive PvP mode called Death Jamboree, derived from the DEATHVERSE series. Players battle each other for supremacy while navigating the same hazardous environment.
This mode emphasizes aggressive play and strategic use of randomized weapon traits, offering a distinct challenge from the solo or co‑op experiences.
- Prioritize weapons with high burst damage for quick eliminations.
- Use terrain to your advantage to ambush opponents.
05 / THE GUIDE
Seasonal Reset and Reincarnation
Each season ends with a world reset triggered by the Reaper’s Challenge. All story progress, Raider Rank, inventory, and masteries are cleared, but purchased Death Metal and edition bonuses remain.
The reset introduces new equipment, enemies, and fields, ensuring each season feels fresh and unpredictable.
- Save Death Metal for permanent upgrades before a season ends.
- Experiment with new gear immediately after a reset to adapt quickly.
