About Lawn Mowing Simulator 2
Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 expands the original’s working‑sim feel with new equipment, a USA setting and a fully explorable 3‑D headquarters. Players manage a lawn‑care business, taking jobs that range from suburban lawns to municipal contracts across eleven distinct locations.
The sequel adds leaf blowers, rakes and a dynamic garden system where properties evolve between visits. Real‑world brands Kubota, SCAG® and STIGA are recreated in‑game, and the title supports full controller use, Steam Cloud saves and family sharing for a relaxed, self‑paced experience.
01 / THE GUIDE
Real‑World Equipment
LMS2 includes mowers, string trimmers and leaf blowers modeled after Kubota, SCAG® and STIGA products, plus in‑house Patterson and Knight gear. Each tool is recreated to match its real counterpart as closely as possible.
The added leaf blower works with a tarp system that fills with collected leaves, requiring players to empty it into a debris bag before continuing. A rake is also provided for hard‑to‑reach spots.
- Compare the weight and width of each mower to find a comfortable fit for different lawn sizes.
- Use the rake after blowing to clear corners where the blower may miss.

USA Settings and Locations
The game introduces a new USA setting with eleven locations, most offering multiple contracts of varying size and theme. Jobs span suburban lawns, commercial sites and municipal areas, providing diverse terrain and objectives.
These locations feature a variety of grass heights, flowers and weeds, allowing players to see clear visual differences between cut and uncut areas, which enhances satisfaction when a lawn is perfected.
- Start with smaller suburban contracts to become familiar with the new grass system.
- Observe weed patterns in each location to plan trimming routes efficiently.

3‑D Explorable Headquarters
Career mode now centers on a fully explorable 3‑D headquarters where players run their business. The hub provides access to contracts and character customization, all within a single interactive space.
The HQ design encourages players to move around and interact with menus in a spatial context rather than through static screens, reinforcing the management aspect of the simulation.
- Take a moment to walk through the HQ to locate where new contracts appear.
- Use the spatial layout to quickly switch between equipment displays.

Changing Garden Features
Gardens evolve over time; a house may gain flower beds, a pool or a flagpole between visits. This system ensures that repeat jobs are not identical, requiring players to adapt their approach each time.
The dynamic changes keep the gameplay fresh and encourage players to keep loyal customers happy while handling new obstacles that appear on familiar properties.
- Check the property before each visit to note any new obstacles.
- Plan your mowing path to accommodate added features like pools or flagpoles.

Mass Leaf Blowing System
LMS2 can handle tens of thousands of leaves at once, allowing players to clear large piles efficiently. Leaves are blown onto a tarp that fills until it must be emptied into a debris bag, after which the process repeats.
The system pairs with the newly added leaf blower and rake, giving players multiple tools to manage leaf accumulation across varied environments.
- Watch the tarp fill up so you know when it's time to empty it.
- Combine blowing with raking for quicker clearance in dense leaf areas.
