About LABYRINTHOS: The Depths Want You
Labyrinthos: The Depths Want You is a dark‑fantasy RPG that sends the player into a sunken Tower, an abyssal labyrinth beneath the earth. The goal is to navigate the maze, survive its perils, and ultimately reach the surface.
The game blends roguelike decision‑making with RPG progression: each victory lets you learn or improve a skill, while hunger and a corruption meter add constant pressure. Multiple endings and a New Game Plus mode let each run build toward the final escape.
01 / THE GUIDE
Exploration and Hunger
Exploring the Tower requires careful movement, as the labyrinth is filled with traps, chests, and random events. Food is scattered throughout, and failing to eat imposes combat penalties.
Managing hunger becomes a strategic layer; collecting and consuming food before battles helps maintain combat effectiveness. The scarcity of nourishment encourages thorough searching of each corridor.
- Prioritize picking up any food items you encounter before moving deeper.
- Compare the risk of a trap versus the potential reward of a hidden chest.

Combat and Action Points
Combat relies on the player’s skills and a pool of Action Points (AP). Each action consumes AP, requiring thoughtful sequencing of attacks, defenses, and abilities.
Victory in combat grants the chance to learn or enhance a single skill, making each fight a pivotal moment for character growth.
- Plan your skill usage to avoid exhausting AP before the enemy is defeated.
- Observe which skills offer the most AP efficiency for your playstyle.

03 / THE GUIDE
Skill Progression
After every successful battle, the player may choose one skill from a limited selection to learn or upgrade. This choice directly influences future encounters and survivability.
Because only one skill can be altered per victory, selecting upgrades that complement your current strategy is essential for long‑term success.
- Consider which skill will address your current weaknesses before selecting.
- Balance offensive and defensive upgrades to handle varied enemy types.
04 / THE GUIDE
Chaos Corruption System
Chaos permeates the maze, and each misstep raises a corruption meter. When corruption reaches its limit, the player suffers a game over.
Monitoring corruption is crucial; even minor errors can accumulate, making vigilance as important as combat readiness.
- Watch for actions that might increase corruption and avoid them when possible.
- Compare the impact of different hazards on your corruption level.

New Game Plus & Multiple Endings
The story offers several endings, and New Game Plus lets subsequent attempts build on previous progress.
Each new playthrough can further enhance the hero, bringing the player incrementally closer to the ultimate goal of surfacing.
- Use New Game Plus to experiment with different skill paths.
- Track which ending you achieved to guide future decisions.
