About KurtzPel
KurtzPel is a 3rd‑person, anime‑styled action battle game from KOG, the creators of Grand Chase and Elsword Online. It is free‑to‑play, in Early Access, and runs on Windows with full controller support.
Players can join 2v2 PvP matches that are queued by an automated matchmaking system, or take on raid‑style PvE quests against large boss monsters. The game features a dual‑job (Karma) system that can be swapped during combat and a deep visual customization suite for characters.

Game Modes
KurtzPel provides three PvP modes that are matched automatically. Deathmatch awards points for defeating opponents, Capture the Flag rewards the team that secures the flag and accumulates points, and Conquest pits Red and Blue teams against each other to control zones until time expires.
The PvE offering is the Epic/Repeat Mission, where players fight key enemies, interact with Hero NPCs, and uncover story details. These missions have multiple difficulty levels, a low chance to drop special accessories, and follow typical PvE challenge structures.

Karma (Weapon) Switching System
Each player equips two separate jobs, called Karma, named Breaker and Slayer. These roles can be swapped at any moment during a battle, letting players adapt their combat approach without leaving the match.
Switching Karma does not interrupt gameplay, so players can transition between offensive and defensive tactics as the situation evolves.
- Practice both Karma roles in a practice match to learn their distinct playstyles.
- Swap Karma when the enemy changes strategy to maintain advantage.

Character Customization System
Players choose a personality and adjust visual features such as body type and height, simplifying the creation of a unique avatar. The system presents appearance options based on the selected personality.
These customization choices affect only the character’s look; they do not modify gameplay mechanics in either PvP or PvE.

Costume and Dye System
Beyond basic appearance, KurtzPel includes a layered costume system covering weapons, tops, bottoms, innerwear, shoes, gloves, and ten additional accessory slots. Players can further modify colors using a dye system.
All costume and dye options are purely cosmetic and have no impact on combat performance.
- Mix accessories across slots to create a cohesive visual theme.
- Apply dyes that match your team’s colors for easier identification in PvP.

Platform and Support Features
KurtzPel is available on Windows and supports full controller input, allowing both keyboard‑mouse and gamepad play. The game also includes Steam achievements, family sharing, and in‑app purchases.
The title is free‑to‑play and in Early Access, but it does not currently support macOS or Linux platforms.
