About KILL la KILL -IF
KILL la KILL -IF brings the 2013 anime’s vibrant world to an action‑fighting game. Players follow Satsuki Kiryuin through a brand‑new story supervised by series writer Kazuki Nakashima, while battling familiar characters. The game mixes fast normal attacks, defensive guards, and heavy break attacks in a rock‑paper‑scissors style system, and adds a “Bloody Valor” debate mechanic that mirrors the series’ heated exchanges.
Available on Windows, the title supports single‑player, online and split‑screen PvP, Steam achievements, cloud saves, and partial controller use. Multiplayer modes let friends duel locally or via Remote Play Together, while leaderboards track competitive performance.
01 / THE GUIDE
Story Mode
The campaign follows Satsuki Kiryuin as the main protagonist, presenting an entirely new scenario written by Kazuki Nakashima. Players progress through battles that reveal Satsuki’s perspective on the events of the anime.
Each encounter advances the narrative, and the story is presented through the series’ signature animation style, keeping the anime’s tone intact.
- Focus on mastering each character’s normal attacks early to keep combos fluid.
- Observe enemy patterns during story battles to anticipate break attacks.

Battle Mechanics
Combat revolves around three basic actions: Normal Attack, Guard, and Break Attack. These interact like rock‑paper‑scissors—normal attacks are fast, guards block normal attacks, and break attacks pierce guards but leave the user vulnerable.
Players can chain normal attacks into auto‑combos by repeatedly pressing the attack buttons, while guards cannot stop break attacks.
- Use Guard sparingly; it cannot stop break attacks.
- Mix close and long ranged normal attacks to keep opponents guessing.

Bloody Valor
When a player is not being attacked, they can trigger Bloody Valor, initiating a debate phase. Both participants select a phrase—Taunt (rock), Provoke (scissors), or Mock (paper)—and resolve it with the same rock‑paper‑scissors logic.
If the attacker’s phrase is stronger or equal, they win the debate; otherwise the defender wins, adding a strategic layer beyond pure fighting.
- Activate Bloody Valor after creating distance to avoid immediate retaliation.
- Remember that a tie still counts as a win for the attacker.
