About KeyWe
KeyWe is a cooperative postal puzzler where two kiwi birds, Jeff and Debra, work together in a whimsical post office. Players move the birds by jumping, flapping, pecking and butt‑slamming across levers, bells and buttons to deliver telegrams, urgent messages and packages.
The game runs on Windows, supports full controllers, split‑screen and online co‑op via Remote Play Together, and includes Steam Achievements and Family Sharing. Seasonal hazards such as winter weather and autumn thunderstorms appear in the mail rooms, and players can customise their kiwis with feather colours and accessories.

Gameplay Mechanics
Jeff and Debra navigate an interactive landscape of levers, bells and buttons without hands. The core actions—jump, flap, peck and butt‑slam—are used to activate mechanisms and solve puzzles that keep the mail flowing through each room.
Puzzles require timing and coordination between the two birds. Successful delivery depends on activating the correct sequence of devices while avoiding the environmental obstacles described in the game’s setting.
- Synchronise lever activations by watching each bird’s animation.
- Use the butt‑slam to reach higher buttons when needed.

Co‑op Modes
KeyWe offers split‑screen local co‑op for two players, each controlling one kiwi bird. Both players see their own view while working on shared puzzles, allowing direct coordination in the same physical space.
Online co‑op is available through Remote Play Together, letting a second player join from another location using their own input device while the host runs the game.
- Choose split‑screen for precise visual feedback during tight sections.
- Test the Remote Play Together connection before tackling a complex level.

Customisation
Players can change feather colours and unlock accessories such as hats for each kiwi. These visual options are presented as unlockable items throughout the game and serve purely aesthetic purposes.
Customisation does not affect puzzle mechanics; it only provides a personal style for the birds as they work in the post office.
- Select contrasting feather colours to differentiate the kiwis during fast action.
- Try different hats to see which visual style you prefer.

Seasonal Hazards
Mail rooms feature weather‑related challenges, including wintery conditions and autumnal thunderstorms. These hazards change platform behaviour and require players to adjust timing and movement.
Navigating these environments safely is essential for maintaining the flow of mail and completing each level’s objectives.
- Observe the visual cues of the environment to anticipate hazard timing.
- Adjust your movement rhythm when the weather changes.

Platform Support
KeyWe is released for Windows and includes full controller support, Steam Achievements, Remote Play Together and Family Sharing. The game does not list macOS or Linux compatibility.
Family Sharing allows multiple accounts on the same device to access the game without an additional purchase, and controller settings can be adjusted in the options menu.
- Enable controller support in the options for smoother input.
- Activate Family Sharing on a shared PC to let household members play.
