About Ken ga Kimi
Ken ga Kimi follows Kayo, a tea‑house daughter in Edo, who is drawn into a false bridal procession by a Tokugawa samurai. The narrative begins on the Tōkaidō road and later splits into two sequel paths based on player choices.
The game offers 24 endings across six main characters, each with four distinct conclusions, and adds new CGs, songs, and an Omikuji voice system. It is available in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Japanese.

Story Structure
The plot is divided into a pre‑quel, "False Bridal Procession in Tōkaidō," and a sequel, "Sword Retrieving Imperial Match." The sequel further separates into "Ken" (samurai road) and "Kimi" (life of happiness) according to the player’s decision.
All events are set in 1633, referencing the historical Sword Retrieving Imperial Match and the Tenka‑Goken swords that grant the title of Bushido to victorious samurai.
- Track early selections to see whether they steer the story toward the Ken or Kimi branch.
- Note which main character you are following; each has its own set of four endings.

Endings and Epilogues
Each of the six main characters has four distinct endings, giving a total of 24 possible conclusions. After reaching an ending, a unique epilogue scenario becomes available.
Every epilogue presents a new scene that expands on the chosen route, providing additional narrative detail beyond the main story.
- Save before a pivotal choice so you can revisit alternate endings without restarting the whole game.
- Read each epilogue to discover extra story elements that are not shown in the main route.

Shikon (Magatama) Selection System
In the sequel, normal selections are replaced by Magatama Selection, which tracks four attributes called shikon: courage, wisdom, love, and friendship. Each player choice raises the value of one shikon.
The accumulated shikon values determine whether the final outcome for a character follows the Ken route or the Kimi route, effectively acting as hidden counters.
- If you aim for a specific route, focus on choices that increase the corresponding shikon.
- Watch the on‑screen text for mentions of a shikon to understand its impact.

Audio & Visual Additions
Compared with the original PC version, this port adds a new date scene, an epilogue for each ending, new CGs of the original story, and fresh opening and ending songs. Main‑character voice lines now include emotions such as jealousy and pride, while sub‑character voices include lines like good night and love declarations.
These additions enhance the audiovisual presentation while keeping the core visual‑novel mechanics unchanged.
- Enable subtitles if you want to follow the new voiced lines more clearly.
- Visit the gallery after each ending to view the newly unlocked CGs.
